Freddie Dobbs' Bonneville | Handlebar Controls

Join me in this video after taking on the challenge to fix @FreddieDobbs Triumph Bonneville T100SE. This motorcycle is the central focal point of his channel and has been right there with him on many adventures from all over Europe to the Sahara, across the Atlas Mountains to the local coffee shop!
In this video we get the handlebars built up with the switch gear and levers as well as a general chat about the unveil/hand back to Freddie.

The only problem I can see is that the bike is going to be so immaculate that Freddie won't dare ride it and mess it up. I don't think any of us realised what a perfectionist you are. When you are finished it will probably be better than new. What a lovely job!

Freddies just done a piece on insurer's scrapping bikes rather than repairing them, all the work, time and expenses your doing on his bike might be the reason why. I hope he will appreciate it and treat it with a little more respect and not ride through a foot of flooded road anymore.

Just a wee question, you seem to be doing a very comprehensive reno on Freddie's bike, surely he hasn't got that higher kms that it needs so much stuff replaced, your just doing it for the channel. How many kms would you normally expect to get out of a Triumph before you have to do serious work to it?

@kendag2823 Hi its Emily, I used WD 40 with green, red and black scratch pads then Autosol Metal Polish with the buffer attached to the drill. Uoi have to dig in like you mean it to make it shine 😊

Hey Joe, I would like to ask you a question before your channel gets too big, and you have too many of them. I have a 2020 Triumph Street Twin. I don't like the wheels on it, and I would love to put some chrome wire spoke wheels like the ones on the T100. What would you recommend me to do because I don't know what fits my bike? I would really appreciate the info. I live in Texas by the way, and there isn't too many Triumph motorcycles here. It's all Harleys and crotch rockets.😢

To be fair that goes for a lot of people which is fine. I’m not great with it myself truth be told. The issues are 1. What sort of spanner had that bike pass its MOTs? 2. Some people will watch Freddie’s videos and believe is “absolutely bulletproof” nonsense approach to maintenance.
