I feel like new Top Gear is really starting to come together and find a new voice. Loving this series so far and the guys' chemistry/passion is really starting to shine. Keep at it lads!

I can get behind this. Seems like it's starting to find it's own groove instead for trying to copy ecapture the old top gear. It's becoming more natural, more likeable.

Yep. The classic Top Gear plot was always gonna work, but now it’s actually starting to feel more natural. Like they found the right type of hosts

It's good to see him being honest, i like him as he's a bit nuts with not much fear (similar to myself😂) i hate Paddy, his voice and attitude is absofuckinglutely grating beyond belief. I do wish the script wtiters would let Chris Harris be himself a lot more than the constant joke about his height scripted banter crap. He knows his stuff and a bloody brilliant driver.

I love Chris Harris. I have huge respect for Flintoff. I don't understand the other bloke. Who is he and why is he presenting top gear?

I know Top Gear will never be the same without Clarkson, Hammond and May but its still the same passion for cars and I'm starting to like the chemistry between Freddie, Chris and Paddy. Good stuff lads!!

TG could do an entire youtube series on Freddie learning to race and I would watch every minute.

Learning to drive fast comes with experience IMO.. I think with a bit more time and more days out on the track and Freddy could get hang of it.. some people either find driving fast incredibly difficult while others find it easy to get the hang of.. it depends on the individual.. if he’s got the right attitude and the right people around him like Chris and the rest of the team to give advice.. I think he can do it.. I’m not to say he’s gonna be mustard but deffo an improvement over the way he currently drives.. imagine taking a pro racing driver and trying to teach him how to play cricket on a pro level.. I know it’s not the same but the principle is.. I hope he smashes it.. 👍

Awwww, he cares what Chris thinks and respects him : ) that makes me so happy. When this new TG started it really seemed like they were mean to chris and looked down on him as they were more alpha than him. When in reality, on a show about cars, he's the most qualified by a mile. This is really interesting, great stuff lads!

It was insane to get him practically straight into a GT4 class or whatever that Ginetta is. Think The Beeb may have been hoping for some drama... Always liked Flintoff, and McGuiness, and Harris but understand why so many in the comments come out as staunch Top Gear conservatives with a deep dislike of change, but I hope Freddies extra car cred gives the new team a bit of a break. Freddie, get yourself a hot hatch, fit some braided brake lines and track pads on it and go do a few track days.

If they could lose the scripted element of Top Gear and just let the presenters be themselves it would be so much better. It feels like the BBC don't trust the audience to be able to cope without laddish bants shoehorned in. This interview, the episode where they talked about the cars their dads drove and the Eddie Kidd episode were just brilliant TV. C'mon BBC, time to move the show into the 21st century.

I agree with a lot of the comments but paddy gets on my nerves, I don’t know who would be better but they are getting close to being entertaining just like old top gear

Top Gear lack of views for these two presenters should tell you all you need to know. Get someone who understands and appreciates cars beyond the enthusiasm of an adolescent.

Glad to see him understand the commitment required for motorsport where you are always on the edge versus cricket where you aren't and are simply waiting for your chance. Actually motorsports in no way comparable to cricket. Cricket is just a silly boring game with very little to no danger whatsoever, the fielding team are waiting like dogs to chase the ball(it's hilarious) and catch it. The strategy is something to be laughed at and all in all is a very primitive game which hasn't evolved in any other way rather than the rules. There is no new technology that is being introduced or any form of development that may actually aid the development of our society in whatever manner possible. I would say it's as boring if not more than fishing.
