Watched him a lot as a kid growing up in the 70's and remember him doing Mick Jagger - Watched it with my mum and dad and we were all in fits of laughter. Every time I see him, I wonder what he's gunna do next, he's so UNPREDICTABLE!! Des O'Connor was the only one brave enough to have him frequently on his show. From one Scouser to another - U ROCK FREDDIE!!!!!!!!!

Des had Freddie on his show regularly back in the 80's and 90's and they were like an undeclared comic double act with Des playing the straight man, a bit like Morecambe and Wise.

Anybody that gets on the end of Freddie Starr wish they had never been born, I saw him Hull a few years ago and laughed so much I had to go to the Gents, I should have pissed myself, coz when I came back it was even worse, even his videos of past times are still something to laugh at, A true british instutution where we should all be, the autograph signing at the end was even worse, you get your monies worth with interest
