Do you ever get splinters when breaking apart the chopsticks? I come from Vietnam, where it’s acceptable to rub the chopsticks against each other to remove splinters after breaking them apart

That's sad that they will no longer rent to women. Did they give a reason for the change? This place seems to be in a great place for a tourist to travel to Osaka and Kyoto. And maybe a long excursion to Hiroshima via Shinkansen. So long as you don't mind capsule hotels.
