Beautiful model, build and flight! Love your countryside! Herr makes nice kits. My Dad was a private pilot associated with the Civil Air Patrol in upstate New York and in the late 60's he got to fly the Patrols RYAN (PT20) twice. He took me up on the 2nd flight. I was 11 at the time but will never forget that experience.

Beautiful build - I just question why you mark the pieces with dark ink that will show through the tissue? Wouldn't be better to use pieces of tape with the marks so that after it is assembled and covered you don't see the numbers showing through?

Thank you for watching. Decals are printed with a regular printer that uses water-soluble ink. I use an EPSON printer exclusively for postcards. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqDNm4xuhpyfl8U The decal scene starts at 5:40.

Beautifully built!! Love the aluminum to the fuselage. What did you use? Also, how did you apply the black checkered pattern to the rudder?

Thank you for watching. The fuselage is made of FAI Metalized Mylar. The rudder checkering was painted on using masking.
