Free Hugs | NICU Cuddler Program

All humans need touch. This is especially true for our neonates. These babies sometimes spend months in our NICU and it's often impossible for parents to be there for extended periods of time.
This is where St. Charles specially trained volunteers, known as NICU cuddlers, come in. Their caring touch helps calm babies, leading to improved feeding and sleep - which in turn helps them heal and ultimately leave our NICU.
We are so grateful to volunteers like Marti who donate their time the Cuddle Program!
