She is disillusioned by the end of her 10 years of marriage, left by her husband, and are telling us to 'smoke the crack'. And her words hold some unintended merit. Her analogy is actually a good one as it describes men's relationship to sex. However, what she is shaming us for is 'for not caring enough to aquire the drugs'. She is a disenfranchised drug dealer, crying about her loss of power over her users, and shaming them for not wanting to pay the price.

The reason the bitter women chose the men who made them bitter is because they are poor judges of character. You are partially right, as it was the Birth Control Pill that came out in 1960 the became popular for both sexes to have sex with less consequences. Which allowed the female nature to be freed, so to speak to be openly Promiscuous in society. When before it was hidden, then both sexes continued into singers of the 70s, then Porno clubs of 80s, then Raves of the 90s, then Hookup Culture today. Natural progression when consequences are gone, even with the pill other birth control including Child Support and Abortion furthered the rewards of Promiscuity and Hypergamy.

95% of men have ZERO options. Feminism / women’s liberation and women having the ability to vote has quite literally come close to destroying the most powerful empire the world has ever seen. Women CANT be allowed to vote because the politicians MUST pander to women to get elected, pandering to women results in open borders, social programs, fiscal responsibility, invasion by 3rd worlders who don’t share our values, being soft on crime, soft on homeless, tolerant of intolerant people, the destruction of the family, weakening of the military, weakening of all institutions, moving away from competence hierarchy and towards “inclusion” and diversity, participation trophies…. Everything is breaking down, and there’s no men who are incentivized to fix everything because the society gives them no benefit and there’s no women worthy of making that sacrifice for. There’s no fixing this.

Women devalued it by offering, hell, donating it without a relationship, without effort, without exclusivity, without vetting the men they were giving it to. It's women's job to preserve it's value and they abandoned that responsibility. Only immature women will say the current state of dating and the existence of hook-up culture is men's fault. The man or bear is supposed to refer to which one a woman would feel more fear from. A bear will either kill you or leave you alone. I won’t be questioned if i was attacked, if i deserved it or asked what i was wearing bc unfortunately most men are scary. I think it’s men’s jobs to make women feel safe and in most cases they don’t. I’m not saying you (if you’re a man) are terrible but unfortunately it is your job to make that extra effort to be different from the scary men in which we are referring to.

This may sound like a stupid answer, but the answer to “what’s the difference between free love in the 60s and today’s hook-up culture” is the ubiquitous use of psychedelics. Everyone was chill and loving in the 60s because they all explored their own consciousness with psychedelics and shared those experiences with each other. Today, there is a complete separation between interpersonal relationships and your own introspective, conscious exploration. These two things are no longer connected. That’s the difference.
