This is a free way to get your vector pdf files into SketchUp with working lines you can actually use.

Hello, to put it on the scale, measure a line that knows the dimension and take this number that is on the dimension and divide it by the value that is currently measuring, the result can be applied to the scale by typing when using the scale icon! Ex: 5m/ 7.5 = 0.6 (scale factor to be used)

One way to make scaling easier: Measure on that scale from 0m to 5m and when sketchup says it's 3m, just type 5m and and it will rescale the drawing according to your most recent measurement, to be exactly 5m. This way you can avoid repeatedly getting closer. closer, but never exactly the right length.

Seems like this does not work with component loaded externally. Which I guess this file would be.
