Free Stopover Visa In Saudi Arabia Plus Free One Night Hotel

I'm considering taking up this offer this June for one night arriving at Jeddah. How can I find out where the hotel will be located and which hotels might it be? It seems I will only find out AFTER booking my flight and extended stopover. It also says subject to availability. Is there a risk that I book the stopover and end up without a free hotel?

Bought online ticket from KL to Birmingham and apply e-visa for 4 days stopover umrah cost $25. No mention in the site complimentary 1day stay hotel.

It says that even with the visa entry is not guaranteed and documents will be checked. If the visa application is completely and accurately completed will entry effectively be guaranteed?

I'm visiting Saudi Arabia for less than 96 hours on the way to Abu Dhabi starting in London. My question is can you get a transit / stopover visa if you fly into Riyadh using Ethiad airlines or is this visa only available to passengers using Saudi or Flynas airlines? Thanks

I know it's an old thread but still answering and hope it helps some one. The visa is only available if you have booked through Saudi or Flynas Airlines. You can apply within 90 days, so if you're planning to visit on 1st August, you should apply after 2nd of May. This is how you do it...Use your PNR and surname to log into the airline booking system to 'manage booking' scroll down to 'extra' and from there an option should be available to apply for eVisa, it's not completely free, you will have to pay for medical insurance.

Do I need to avail of the stopover visa given that I have a 12 hour and 45 min layover in Jeddah but will still be flying in the same airport? I am flying via SAUDIA but when I booked my ticket last year free stopover visa was not yet in effect. Now I am confused whether or not to get a transit visa since there is an article I read that passengers transiting for more than 12 are required but not specified if will be going out to a different airport.

Anyone take up on this free stopover visa because we booked at that time and nothing like that showed up during booking process? Getting a lot of push back now since May 15 and they all say it was suppose to be during booking. We proved that it wasn't yet still nothing. And now Saudia has taken it off their website and they are asking us to give proof that the promotion existed!

Didn't know bought a Saudi airline air ticket from from Los Angeles to Delhi. stop over 2 days at jedda. Bought tickets from assap travel. I call Saudi airline. They told me I can't get a stopover visa because I didn't buy from Saudi airline website. Doesn't make any sense. Any advice.

Same happen to me today. I purchased tickets frim official app of saudia but forget to click on “apply transit visa” dur to which i teached airline office and they said that transit visa can onlu apply at the time of bioking of ticket. No i had cancel the ticket and issue a new ticket with transit visa. I bear loss of Rs. 20000/- INR due to this situation.
