I was wearing Freed's point shoes 50 yers ago. When I had to give up classical ballet, I kept my last pair of point shoes which I still have and they will be buried with me!

Very interesting although I know nothing about ballet shoes. I watched another you tube video about the dozens of ways each dancer modifies the shoes to fit them, cutting away parts of the shoes, rolling them around to soften them, sewing them! I had no idea how difficult it is to get them just right. Thanks for sharing.

Great video for us all Freed fans ! I've tried many different styles from this brand and so far all I knew was correct and I also learned new things from this video! Being fitted in the London store was a magical experience. I would just add that the studio pro shoe is also 3/4rd. I often tell my friends that in the Freed language, pro=3/4 shank. The cpro90 is my favorite😊

This is a fantastic video. Thank you so incredibly much from the bottom of my heart for doing this. I am currently shadowing and training to extend my pointe shoe fitting into more of the professional realm and having videos like this just makes me so happy, especially with a company like Freed. 💕 You are treasure and you have a new super fan!

Have you made the video about the makers? I'm looking through your channel and I cant find it! I really enjoy your presentation style and would love to learn more! I'm a non-dancer who is weirdly interested in pointe shoes, and would love to have a pair of my own that fit me, but only be used for display purposes (because I'm under no illusions, and I value my bones haha!). I will be pleasantly surprised If you see this message, and I'll continue to watch your channel. I'm no dancer, but I am an artist, so theres a lot for me to love about your channel. ❤

Russian Sapfir gals, studios are a great alternative! My feet are extremely tapered and skinny & unless I custom order I always need a box liner. That being said, now that I can’t get my sapfirs, the studios are great! They don’t last quite as long but are very beautiful and have a similar shape.

Hi there! The custom process at Freed is quite intense! I think the best way to know your options is to contact them directly for a custom fitting. There are SO many options for shanks and customizations so I would definitely recommend reaching out to them ❤️

Hi there! I do but I think it’s a subject better left to your teacher and pointe shoe fitter, they would know best what works for you at this stage in your technique and physiology 👍
