Hi Sergey ...you always did good job 👏 I got one time almost same exercise but with 50 m*10 and with 1 min break..was not easy... But..one breath...no way 👏
@KAIZENFREEDIVING4 жыл бұрын
no, it is not the same....There are going to be different energy production pathways in these two exercises. What you are doing is also great, but it is not that specific in my opinion.

When we do it in our 25 m pool, its 12 times with 4 times breath in breath out, after the fifth breath in we proceed. And sometimes we do the pyramid training in which we do 12 times 25 m and the recoveries in seconds are like so: 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. These pieces of training really exhaust me and my cheeks start puffing at the beginning of the dive :)

Please explain about diving table
@KAIZENFREEDIVING4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Which table exactly?
@Lifes-journeye10 ай бұрын
Sounds good, I cant wait to try this tomorrow( maybe 5 times) and more breaths in between. I will start to train after co2 table as well. I am a beginner but my record static breath hold is 4 min (mosty i can do 3) I hope your tips will get me to be more relaxed so I could hold 5 min by the time I take my certificate 🙏😊 hope to come to your school for that. Will you come to TDEX?

It appears you were packing? Is that part of the technique?
@KAIZENFREEDIVING4 жыл бұрын
I do a couple of packs, but no, it is not necessary

This looks like a (degenerate) special case of what N. V. Molchanova calls "Interval method with pre-defined rest time" in her book "Basics of Freediving, 1st wave" which is given to all freediving students in Russia, see page 67 in the 2nd (year-2015) edition of the book. But there, on page 65, comes a list of acceptable training methods for beginners, and "Interval method" is not among them. The reasoning (not in the book, but what I had from my instructor) was that at this stage it is much more important to develop proper technique of movements, which is impossible if there are contractions. And one of the theoretical exam questions (multiple-choice on paper, so no chance of misunderstanding) was "which training method should not be used by beginners". How comes that you recommend this even for beginners? Is the book wrong/outdated, or simply different schools have different opinions, or - what's your definition of a beginner?
@KAIZENFREEDIVING4 жыл бұрын
Hi Alexander! This exercise is not for complete beginners, though it is hard to define who is a beginner. I do it only with my Master students. And even with them, it is not a main training. Normally main training for our students is "no contractoin" table. I have a video about it as well

When my coach introduced this training to me for the 1st time I felt like its Nazis approach for sure.
