Freediving the Amazing North Solitary Island!

We are back on the road! We have driven up to Minnie Water to freedive North Solitary Island. I've heard about the island for years and have always wanted to dive it! We dived the marine parks around the island. The water was clear and there was life everywhere. I can't believe all these incredible places have been so close to my home and I never took the time to explore them.
This freediving road trip around Australia has already been so much more than I hoped for.

I have a problem I can hold my breath 2 minutes on land easily but when I dive I can barely hold my breath for just 40 sec what should do?

You should dive more often and get more comfortable in the water :) you will always be able to hold your breath on land longer than you can dive

I'm a local in the area, dive/freedive off North Solitary, South is on my 2021 bucket list. and You're right about not just North Solitary but a lot of the Solitary Marine Park islands, they are a meeting point of the southern and northern reefs, they quite literally are the crossroads for the temperate and tropical currents, which allows for all the biodiversity with species from both regions

Adam: You are developing a reputation for not keeping things very well maintained. This is the second video where you "got stuck" because of brake downs. A free diver should never be caught off guard like that. What if you had a life and death emergency?

You seem like the nicest person I‘ve ever seen you just do what you enjoy and people love it. Btw those photos in the canyon look crazy good! I‘m from Germany so I don’t get to dive this often but when I’m on vacation I dive all the time. I have already 3 diving liscens at age 18! I enjoy scuba diving but there is nothing better than the freedom of freediving. Please keep doing what you are doing. It makes me happy to see you dive and have a great time with you small family and friends. Can’t wait until the world is open again and I can visit Australia to go and dive! I have never been to Australia but now through watching your videos it is definitely on top of my bucket list. Thanks for sharing your life with us and making my life in boring Germany just a little better❤️
