I cried so much watching this for so many reasons. In the Western world many of us take education for granted, and here we see fathers and children risking their lives so that they can go to school. Not only that, but they are separated for months on end, away from their parents. As a mother I found it heart wrenching when the dad's had to leave straight away without even a break 😥. This documentary makes me feel truly grateful to be able to cuddle my children and have warmth this winter, and all the other things that makes our lives easier. I hope they got back safely and the families are doing well as its been some time since this was filmed.

@kikinorm443426 күн бұрын
@@yanikeonpurposeits not that they choose to live there. Theyre born there,,, many generations of families. When these adults were children, they didnt have the chance to go to school. Theyre born into that world and are literally too poor to leave. The only way out is education and the parents know theyre too old to start school now but their children arent. At most what’s expected is money to be sent home if the children can get a good job.

Being part of same region called ladakh. To be honest, we don't need any sympathy and pity from anyone ,but what we need is our basic rights which is enshrined not only in indian constitution but one of the SDG's objectives i.e access to quality education and health care facilities for all. We love to be who we are , where we are born. Ladakh is unique world in itself which is base on buddist philosophy especially compassion and love to all including ecology and environment.we may not have luxurious foods to eat ,alishan house to to live but we are very much happy to eat our local dishes and live simply in our little house which is made up of muddes ,bricks and stones stick and woods. This documentary remind me of my child hood when we used to play with snow ball with friends. Those children who got golden opportunity to educate themselves are few but what about others left out without education facilities? Govt. And civil society must bring facilities at doorstep instead of few hand picking child.

Plus another good news for you the BJP Government has also been busy in making land laws for your people to protect your land rights. So sit tight brother we are all Indians and will support our brothers and sisters in Ladakh. Jai Hind Jai Ladakh 😍🇮🇳.

Instead of making funny excuses and mockery, we should try to bring transparency in governance.we need active participated in governance and walk on progressive path of development. In fact it's not about any particular region in indian but same problem is facing every nook and corner of country. The paradox is few elite class are enjoying the benefits in post independent India, even though those few elite rode on back of mass indian on the pretext of giving them quality life but nothing has happened till now. Our farmers brothers are suiciding every day and women becoming insecure in every big cities.etc etc. Of course the problem of quality life in UP bihar is not due to human nature but human created problem, see the population data one in every 4 child is born in this region every day. So I think some of fundamental issues are not sth related to human nature bhai.

Focus your eyes on the one who’s bones cannot be found on this earth. The one who gives wisdom , knowledge and talents. Focus on the one that cannot be contained in any rock or piece of wood. Focus on the one who has his eyes set on your people. Focus on the one who prepared a firm path to eternal life. On the one who hears your yearns and is just waiting to reveal himself to you if you call out his name “ Jesus “ he will hear your concerns . He will bless you and save you for eternal life. Man and government are not responsible for you God almighty Jehovah the 1 true God will respond for you if you call out his name “Jesus” . Believe in him and acknowledge him as the True living God and I know he will respond to you ! Much blessings in Jesus name. He died on the cross and rose from the grave for our sins and now sits on his throne . Repent of your life without Jesus and start over walking with Him by faith his path is the only way to heaven . His love and mercy is enough to be forgiven . He came to rescue us all from the wickedness of our enemy it is precisely our sins that he died on the cross for. Jesus is the light of the world .

I admired the work these great fathers have to do and risking it all just to give their children a better education for a better future. The advise these fathers gave the boys to take care of each other is the only hope they can hold on to the entire school year. They crossed one of the most dangerous ways to school on this earth togethet, they conquered it together, and all they have now now is each others back on a place where they have no close family apart from themselves. My Heart cried after watching this Life Documentary!! Why Life is so unfair and threatening for such a sweet people!! Lot of questions rising in my mind!! Not able to express my emotions precisely here. Students in Cities hardly understand this pain including my own child and many more around living in a much comfortable space. It seems like everything is coming so easily for them. Many Parents also pamper too much to spoil their kids. Education and Good Infrastructure is undoubtedly important but right values are above all. It's not the fault of these people from Chadar who belongs to such a remote and isolated place. Education is their right too. I wish this documentary will reach to the concerned authorities at Chadar and Govt. Of India must do something or take better initiatives for the future of these dedicated students for the sake of their safety. Education at the cost of life is not a justice!! Appreciate all the courageous people to film this extremely powerful life story. My Salute to the Extremely courageous Parents of these Kids. My life looks really meaningless working for profit making corporates. I often think what am I doing!! making useless presentations for corporate jerks, atleast I haven't worked with a single sensitive person who think about other's life or talk about such issues in Society!! These idiots talk about their own interest and they are concerned about their own progression and job security only. Nothing beyond this. I am into Nature and wildlife photography for last 15 years. If I will be given chance I will definitely work and love to be part of such a documentary projects in India and to cover such sensitive issues in my home state Uttarakhand.
