I respect Art but Chris Adler is such an iconic drummer that have written such classic drum parts, that its hard to just forget how it used to be played by a such an influential musician. Again for me in the drumeo video, the snare tuning isnt doing it, dosent fit the LOG sound imo 🤷

Yeah I love me a big fat snare drum but part of the reason the drumming on the earlier LOG albums, in my opinion anyway, was the high pitch of Chris's snare. And that tight crack with the deeps bass drums and toms is what I expect when I hear those songs

Am I crazy or is the notation wrong at 3:53 ? The last 4 notes should be one eighth note triplet earlier. And in the next 2 bars at 3:59 , the second bar should be 5/4 with an extra quarter rest at the end, and the last 2 eighth note triplets should again be one eighth note triplet earlier.

Art is an awesome dude and drummer!! I remember when winds of plague played a show in bend at a little grange and they stayed after and cleaned up the venue.

Art Cruz was in the first video I saw from this channel. The dude is a ball of charisma and it's super impressive to step into another musician's shoes and keep a band going.

I played in cover bands from 2001-2010 and I wish I had these videos to help me learn. But I did it the old fashion way just listening to the song pure of sound. And maybe some visuals from a live performance or dvd live performance. We didn’t have this kind of luxury

I hate either the tuning or the mixing of the snare drum. It’s missing the ringing sound chris’ used to have. It’s not the character and sounds like someone else is playing the drums instead of lamb of god’s drummer. It’s incredible how just a snare sound can make so much difference on their music. Chris adler is a genius.

It's a sad day when they can't even recognize Chris Addler anywhere in the video. Dude should have played something he made up and not something from time before him

One of my go-to songs while practicing. So fun to play, just wish I had the cymbal array you do. lol
