@Freelancer Amber ScrewAttack didn't want Carol to win against a Dragon Ball character. They say they use every official information, but they didn't use the fact that Carol had access to the Time Stone based off the Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite teaser trailer. With the Time Stone, which is consider a singularity, Carol could have absorb enough energy to become full-on Binary and have total control over time giving her the match. They didn't even include Carol's healing factor, but they did include 18's energy absorption ability in her game which is as close to contradictory as you can get. And don't say they don't use power-ups available to all playable characters because they did it in the Final Fantasy match-ups. They, also, use game trailers as a source when they used it to determine Scout's durability. They purposely prevented Carol from reaching her maximum potential because they gave the Power Stone to Mega Man in DBX. I don't care who is the winner as long as the information is sound, but this one had left out so much crucial information that you have to question their motivation behind this match-up.

The energy absorption ability is strictly from the video. Its established in the show that she, and her brother, aren't energy absorbing androids like 19 and 20 were. If you wanna go back to DBZ, trying going off the arc you remember the most.

If you want to get back into DBZ, might I recommend the manga? It's how I got into the series, and it didn't take me too long, even with me taking breaks every now and then. After you finish the main manga, watch the movies Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, then jump into the third arc in Dragon Ball Super (the first two are just padded out versions of the movies). After that the pacing will slow down a bit, but it's probably the fastest way to get caught up. Also you could just watch DBZ Abridged, might make a good lets watch series.

If you wanna get caught up on DBZ without having to rematch the original series, I suggest either watching Dragon Ball Z Kai (A redub of the original Funimation dub) or Dragon Ball Z Abridged (An internet parody of the original series).

Try dragon ball z kai if you're worried about starting over. It cuts out the filler(the filler episodes and excessive yelling), while also refining the voice acting and image quality. DO NOT watch GT since it's awful. When you start dragon ball super, just watch the battle of gods and ressurection 'f' movies then skip to episode 28. It will save you so much time
