Hey Horse Lovers! Kyle and I found an amazing horse at the horse auction! We were so excited when we first met him in the stall. We can't believe he's actually ours and that we won the bid after all of that. Kyle instantly connected with this beautiful boy, and it's clear how happy he was to get this horse! We named him Prince Naveen and he's been settling in well over the past couple weeks here at FSE. Today is a busy day for Naveen! We are moving him out of the Quarantine paddock into a large area for his first integration step. He also will have his first farrier appointment at the farm along with his first official groom & groundwork session. We are really looking forward to working with him and introducing him to the herd soon. We will also talk more about our plans with him and more facts regarding this new horse plus spend some time with him. Of course, in today's video we are going to see how he responds! Naveen did so very well with all the new things he was being introduced to but, I must say, the true joy was seeing him move out, especially at the trot, with such open and free movement and such confidence. That boy is stunning!! With the foundational training he already has and what you’ll be able to do with him, Shae, to polish up his skills coupled with his amazing temperament, I can’t imagine it would be too long before Kyle could get him out for some trail rides. Let the “bromance” begin! 😁

Even though he's rather young, Naveen has this air of maturity about him. He's smart and responsive, very chill, knows how to do a lot of things and nothing seems to spook him at all. Meanwhile at the horse club where I train there's this gelding called Brave who's a mounted police vet. Tall, stately, muscular, perfect horse all around. Welp, last week he got spooked by random tomato seedlings someone left outside the training ground🤣🤣

my husband has such interest in Kyle's horse. He grew up showing horses but our career in the military meant we couldn't have horses. We were in the NAVY, and oddly the Army often had horse facilities. So people could move their horses! My Army retired friend took his horse all over the US with him from base to base!

Kevin Richardson, the Lion Whisperer uses Citronella oil on his lions to keep away the flies. Horse flies hate Idaho Tansy floral water too. Essential oils are our friends. Also, you can order a concentrated cedar oil which you attach to a hose to spray on your grounds, lawns, etc. I use it to keep away ticks, fleas, scorpions and bugs of all kinds.

Take a look at Friesian Horses channel-situated in the Netherlands, and is very horse wellness oriented. Amazing stories, and one bonafide miracle. 😁

@@thominaduncanson7596 I know the channel well. I loved the story of Queen Uniek and Risey. I'm not a fan of some of the stuff that happens there. The mares are just baby making machines. If you read about the state of the Friesian you would feel differently. Read the report from the Fenway Foundation. The studbook has been closed since the 70s (ridiculous) and there are only 5 stallions being used which seriously degrades the genetics. Friesians suffer from interconnective tissue disorders. This is why Uniek died, stomach rupture. This is why the Dutch royal family no longer have Friesians, too many problems. Think they have Haflinger (?) horses now, some type of Dutch warmblood. Deliberately breeding horses with known problems is unethical to me. Prince Naveen will be a healthier horse due to the mix of genetics 😊 His Friesian heritage will make him love his humans, no idea on the foxtrotter side 😄

Remember there was an animal vet called Dr. Po(sp?) on a TV animal series that had Friesian horses of his own (the animal vet was from the Netherlands), and he said that Friesian horses had special medical needs due to inbreeding. Perhaps if Friesian breeders use one of the original breeds used to create the Friesian horse (Andalusian or Lusitano (sp?)), one might see a strengthening of the breed? 🤷‍♀️ Just a thought…personally I think that using Shires could also help.

Im sitting here in MA wondering " I wonder how Prince Naveen is doing?, then I open up youtube and here you are with an update!! I love your little farm( and your lipsticks,..I need to explore the clothing). I'm a bucket-list rider and started lessons in 2021 at age 57. I've always wanted a horse, but it's just not in the cards for me. Your channel helps me get my "fix"!! Looking forward to seeing him develop under your and Kyle's care.
