Usually i didn't like sidewinders, but after seeing that here, done properly and with that clean foot hop... i changed my mind! I must try that, thanks Tony! (And definitely better to see without pogoing :)

It makes a huge difference just transferring straight into it, huh? I don't really like the whole "bounce for 30 seconds then crawl all over your board" aesthetic either, but this way gives it a lot more flow. Give it a go - it feels really satisfying to do.

That's rad. I swore this trick had been almost totally forgotten about, so it's good to hear someone remembered it existed.

I found out when trying this trick and dismounting i was oddly able to put my left leg (I’m regular footed) onto the hanger hop and get into rail or tail stop

Are you getting onto the truck before landing in the hand casper? Because that's a 50-50 sidewinder... and those are hard!

Now let's see riding & popn into a Casper then preforming.
@FreestyleTricktips2 жыл бұрын
That'd be an interesting one. You generally want to rolling into a 50-50 going backwards to keep the nose up, but that wouldn't work very well with the sidewinder. Maybe spinning 180 once the tail hits will make it flow? I'll have to have a play.
@eaglehorse12022 жыл бұрын
@@FreestyleTricktips that'd be kool, maybe try riding fakie or else if your good at nollie. Like popin a half fast kickflip
@FreestyleTricktips2 жыл бұрын
@@eaglehorse1202 Yeah, it'd have to be a fakie 180 to set you up properly for the sidewinder. Landing on the nose would mean you'd have to do the sidewinder backwards, and while I'm sure that wouldn't be too hard, it's an extra level of confusion I don't want to be dealing with at the mo.
