I was once a huge proponent of such farms but having read the data and case studies it just doesn't add up (yet). Energy costs are too high, light and humidity problems abound, output is low and variety is extremely limited. The basic problem is that shipping containers were not built to be farms so must be converted for something other their original intent. The buzz phrase is "grow greens" but it's a Catch 22 since that's all you grown. You can't grow corn, potatoes, okra, beans, bananas, melons, squash, eggplant, rice, wheat....you get the pic.
