French C.Y.9 (Sold)

🇫🇷 French C.Y.9. Panoramic gas mask kit dated April of 1939 with a custom box, paper, Fernez filter, and the mask; this mask is size Taille Ordinaire (Normal)
The C.Y.9 is generally just a panoramic A.N.P. T.31 or TC-38 gas mask, but developed into a panoramic design much like the G.E.P., M.S.P., MALF, or TBM-36 gas masks.
This mask is in nearly mint condition, and the boxes lid is, unfortunately, tearing off from it being made from a very bad material.
The C.Y.9. was supposedly only available via private order, possibly from Doctors, construction workers, or anyone that needed to see more than what the T.31 and TC-38 allowed them to.
The papers of this mask state the name of this mask and the fact that this mask was likely developed by Cauvin-Yvose in Paris France.
