I haven't been doing this job for a long time. It's been 22 years. I started again in the last 2 weeks. It's been a long time, but thanks to you, I feel like I never left this profession... that's why I always call you a hero

I know this is 2 years old , but today I did my first crop. Then I fell on your video, this as been so useful for me. I can say that your tips were perfect, as I did most of your tips for my crop. I did leave the fringe a little longer , and did a mid drop fade which worked lovely with this style. I did the texturing after I cut it, using the scissor slide and chopped into the hair. But overall it came out really choppy. Thanks for this video. Just brilliant thankyou.

@@theoneminutebarber just keep doing your videos, most of us following you probably haven't been cutting long. So it's brilliant to find someone we can learn from, that like me cut hair pretty much like you. I'm especially learning loads so thanks.

Could you please list the clippers you used here? I’m thinking there were 3 different ones but I would like to know for sure. Thanks!

I only used the wahl senior throughout. But there was also a wahl finale foil shaver used to take the stubble down to skin.

what if I have some thinning on the crown? you think this haricut will work? Its not bald but you can see the scalp through the hair.. Its like a forest fire happened and cleared out the lower brush.. only the trees are there and you can see the ground...LOL

Welcome to the club😂 It could work, and won’t do any harm to try as it’s above the parietal ridge where you want the bulk to be

Hey quick question mate! I'm planning on growing my hair out. I've got really thick dense hair and I want it to grow out evenly. Should I get a buzz cut or the same number all over, before I start growing it??
@theoneminutebarber2 жыл бұрын
You could. Your hair would then grow out uniformly. But your barber could also shape it as it grows out if you don't do the buzz cut.

Can you show how to cut high disconnected undercut or hairpiece to make the line seemless when blending the sides to the top so it doesn't look like you have a hairpiece or a undercut all looks blended
@theoneminutebarber3 жыл бұрын
If I get a client in who ask for that I will try and make that video. My tip for making the line straight though would be to slightly dampen the hair and brush it back. It will separate in perfect straight lines that you can then section and cut too.

Growing attendance at Turkish Barbers here, nothing wrong with that but does suggest the "British" barbers should consider your great attention to detail. Warm towels are nice too :) Anyway, great video and I'm just a customer but perhaps this feedback might be helpful.

@@theoneminutebarber East Sussex. Loved the video, just thoughts on how we / you could mix their approach with yours :) , they seem congruent.

Absolutely, one of my good friends is a Turkish barber, a very good barber indeed. He thought me the hot towel shave. If I lose 30 kilos I'll do an open razor shave. Currently the beard is masking the extra chin 😬

I cut my own hair, any tips on clippers over comb on a self haircut? Or is it just a no go, stick to just clippers on yourself?
@theoneminutebarber2 жыл бұрын
I'm sure it can be done, I've never gone down that route personally. I'd say a good double or triple mirror set up would be key and go very very slow.

I find scissor over comb abit easier then clipper over comb when doing a self cut, can always use thinning scissors to play it safe aswell
