It's always interesting to see how the south of France is almost like a completely different country. I love how it's part of that Mediterranean area. Thank you for sharing so many details. It was wonderful to see the contrast between the south of France and Paris again. I always learn new things. I love how you even tell us which ingredients are used in the meals. Thank you so much for sharing your trip. ❤️

South of France is on my bucket list! I love that you can eat pretty much anything, but it's in balance and moderation. In America, we have chemicals in the food, we haven't learned portion control or balance, and worst of all, we don't get as much movement in throughout the day. We drive everywhere. Your course has been an eye opener for me, and so valuable!

That’s my biggest pet peeve about the US and also the UK which is where I live now - all the chemicals in the food. You can’t find any bread that’s not made with fortified flour here and any bread you buy in supermarkets, no matter how high-end, has lots of additives in it. I have no probs eating bread in Europe but in UK and US, it is a no go unless you buy what is purely imported. I remember when I first arrived in NY and took my first vacation to Florida as a young student. I have never seen obesity like the one I saw on that beach in Florida. I myself gained five kilos in six months purely from all the portion sizes and the all you can eat buffet - you just totally loose sight of when to stop

@MiaK06 I'm not surprised! I just took a Rhine River Cruise a day felt great the whole time I was in Europe. As soon as I got back to the US, I felt bloated after everything I ate. Now I try to just get organic sprouted bread or the European bread. I think even the store baked breads are probably made with US wheat that has all that glyphosate in it.

Your meals always look so good in the South of France! I would love to see a video of how young french people make meals for one or two! In the states, our produce would go bad too quickly to make multi course meals like this for just one or two people. Would love to learn some tricks!

Have you ever tried boursin cheese melted over potatoes? The shallot flavored boursin is my favorite over potatoes. I think it would be a perfect side dish at a family meal😊

Great video. All the food looked so good. There is nothing like fresh veggies. What spices were in the jar that your grandmother was using? I am sure you had an enjoyable time. Is your dad in the video? Thanks for sharing.😊

The French mindset when it comes to food is the single healthiest Compare that to the US and it is no surprise that Americans are so fat And this is not meant to be disparaging / I love the US and lived in NY for many years but the approach to food in the US is cringeworthy Whether it’s the over processed foods, the huge portion sizes, the labelling of food just as ‘proteins carbs and fats’ etc etc - the list goes on

I agree, love the US for so many things but their approach to food is not ideal
