Some basics of life in France: 1 - It is urgent to take your time. 2 - You have to work to live and not live to work. 3 - A meal is always more important than everything else, especially with friends. 4 - He who eats slowly gains weight slowly. 5 - beauty is everywhere, you just have to stop and look to see it. 6 - you must work slowly and diligently. a job well done does not require that we return to it. Quick work always ends up taking you twice as long as if you had done it calmly from the start.

I love hearing about French culture/diet/lifestyle. I have never understood why so many people here in the US like to brag about being so "busy." Great video. I will check out your free webinar.

Hi Lucie. I am wondering if you can comment on cultural differences between Parisian living versus other parts of France ? Based on my experiences as a tourist in multiple french cities and also rural areas, I certainly notice both the slow living aspects and also the straightforward talking (which I really appreciate! I would also love to hear more about the family aspect of French culture. Merci comme toujours.

As i’ve gotten older 64 and proud of it! I hate the fast life style i stopped DOING IT! Since I lost my husband to cancer, had 3 major operations, and my parents are also gone I realized that money is important to live but I had to stop worrying about SO MUCH! I live very simple now, on very little money about 30k us money my joy is my animals 2 cats 1 dog! I wish i had funds to travel Italy and Paris are in my bucket list!

Hi Lucie! Can I inquire how many Euro do you pay for your apartment there in Paris? Thx just doing a comparison here in CA. Here in the states, the first thing people ask when they meet someone is “what do you DO?” How rude! Great video👍👍
@Edukalebylucie Жыл бұрын
I pay 950 euros ($1000) a month for a 30 square meter (322 square feet) appartment, not including gas, electricity, etc! And that's actually pretty good for Paris.

That side hustle thing is so annoying here with Americans. Yes, I am American. This “boss babe” hustle attitude I find to be very ridiculous. No one is saying you can’t work hard but to call yourself a boss babe just sounds 🤡.

So random but do you ever hear of the last name Bolduc living there? My father is full French, had me with my American mom, I do not speak to nor know my dad personally and grew up in the south getting made fun of for my last name. Love watching your videos to get in touch to what the other half of me is 😅
@10.11.9 Жыл бұрын
Bolduc is a common name in the province of Quebec; perhaps you have French-Canadian cousins. If you want to visit France without leaving the continent, do travel there.

I also notice that French women tend to have more natural looking hairstyles. I absolutely love that and the minimal makeup. Why can't the U.S. be like this?? It's so much nicer! (In my opinion of course.)
