Good work! The interaction around the word "quiche" was to be expected, quite a lot of french vocabulary about cooking bleed into English but French people are not really aware. When you were asking for the wine at the end, she told you "it's on the other side" in a very parisian (and bored) way, Céd'l'otr côté (C'est de l'autre côté). People in Paris are often okay-ish in English, they are a little shy about speaking it but lot of peeps have a good grasp of the language. Enjoy your stay!

Your French learning vlog, "Discovering Paris - Vlog 1," sounds like a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the language and culture! What aspects of Paris did you explore in this vlog, and how did you incorporate language learning into your experiences? Did you visit any famous landmarks, try local cuisine, or interact with locals during your exploration? Additionally, how do you balance language learning with enjoying your travel experiences? Lastly, do you share more of your language learning adventures and travel experiences on Instagram? I'd love to follow along and be inspired by your journey!

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, had an emergency. But the first few videos I’m just working on getting over my anxiety of trying to talk to people in Pairs. I want to get over feeling intimidated when trying to talk. I found trying new restaurants, and new bakeries is a great way to dive in! I plan on doing some touristy things, but I may limit my videos to mostly conversational events. I do have other platforms but right now they are more broad in content. I hope to narrow down the focus in the future! TikTok, Instagram “itsmypassportlife” I’ll make sure to leave in the description in future videos, and I’ll try to answer more of your questions too! Thanks again!!
