✔️Meringue/Batter
2 large egg whites [75 grams]
2 tbsp sugar [25 grams]
1 cup powdered sugar [125 grams]
1/2 cup all purpose flour [68 grams]
*drops of food dye (liquid or gel)
✔️Buttercream Filling
1 cup powdered sugar [125 grams]
1/3 cup unsalted butter [80 grams]
1/2 tsp vanilla extract [2.5 ml]
1 tbsp milk [15 ml]
🔵Yield for this recipe: 30-35 pieces macaron shells

Thank you very much for this. Ginaya ko po ito for my niece's bday nitong Feb 11 lang as design sa cake nya, and for a beginner like me to make french macarons was a success! Question lang po, will the measurement still the same if I use almond flour? Thank you.

Hi, glad you tried it po. Mababago po ang proportion if almond flour kasi po a bit denser sya compare sa all purpose flour.

Will try this for my family and probably for a couple friends for valentine's day. Might add maybe no food coloring though since one of my friends stomach can't handle too much certain food colorings.

Hi my dear friend, it's nice to have you here again😍Yes I've been wanting to do this macarons and it's really good even though I used all purpose flour instead of the authentic ingredient almond flour. I've tried almond flour too for macarons and I was amazed by it's flavor🥰 Definitely I will try more of French pastries. Profiter et prendre soin toujours❤️

hi, Thank you. I can say it's just like a sweet regular meringue flavor using AP flour, yet still good & the buttercream flavor compliments with but definitely using almond flour is richer in taste even without the buttercream.

The taste is just a normal sweet meringue, the buttercream flavor compliments with it. Overall it is good but definitely almond flour is still richer in flavor even without the buttercream.

yes it will affect the consistency if adding too much food color will result to a runny mixture

hi, yes naman po around 1/8 to 1/4 tsp po siguro basta not too much to avoid na maging runny yung mixture. pwede po ang gas range oven with bottom flame coz I used the same type of oven po like yours :)

Ask ko lang po Ma'am/Sir, kung ilang minutes po ipipre-heat yung oven bago isalang yung batter. Tsaka ano pong heat niya, baba or taas po ba? Thank you po

hi, around 10 mins po or more if needed until mag settle or mareach na yung set temperature nya depende po sa type ng oven. for conventional gas oven like mine, bottom heat lang po.

How long will it dry po ?i tried but y ang tagal mag dry is there anyway or technique for faster drying b4 baking?tia❤

it should be dry at least in 30 mins. if left in a cool dry place. Kapag overmixed and runny nman masyado ang mixture, it won't dry po. May impact din po sa drying process if humid/hot climate.

Hi nagtry po aq gumawa ngaun lang.. pero nde q lam f san aq may mali... It took 4 hrs para sa para tumigas sya bago isalang sa oven... Ano po kaya possible na ngaing problem?

Pareho lang po masarap but honestly po mas angat pa rin po sa flavor if almond flour. For the macaron shell it's the usual taste po ng sweet meringue kasi almost flavorless ang all purpose flour unlike sa almond flour na mas richer in flavor. But I can say na masarap pa rin po sya dahil na rin sa buttercream na magccompliment sa meringue and mas masarap sya when chilled :)

Hello, bigla tong nag appear sa feed ko, pina age mo ba sis ang egg whites mo? I mean like 24 hours room temp? Yun kasi nakita ko sa ibang videos. Nag ka interest po kasi ako. Mukhang madali pero complicated pala hehe. And sa sugar, pwede ba yan bawasan if ever? Pwede naman siguro na hindi masyaso matamis na macarons hehe😊

hi, yes po may process talaga na mahirap gawin ang macaron and may pagkasensitive din sya like sa humidity, particularly when drying it out na before baking & delicate talaga ang recipe kapag may involved na egg whites /meringue. yung eggs po are at room temp. not aged, but mas ok din if aged. And yes pwede nmn po bawasan ang sugar according to your preference☺️

factor po ang humidity (sa surrounding or area where you placed it) . it should be in a dry cool spot, pero hindi po sa fridge kasi may tendency mag crack ang macaron

One question. Can the weather cause this to flop and not turn out correctly? I've tried this recipe twice today. Both times it didn't turn out right and I'm doing it exact with you along with the video. It's raining today. Could this be a problem maybe?

macarons need to be place in a cool dry spot. it's possible that your room/area isn't the right temp. for the macarons to dry properly. mostly it dries up at longer time at humid weather/temp but if your room is cool & dry but still didn't work then one culprit could be your meringue has failed(might be over or under beaten).
