I wound up not making this until today. Been really busy. I only had a pound of ground beef so I went ahead and used it, but all the other ingredients stayed the same except the cheese topping for the steaks. My husband didn’t want the cheese on top. They turned out wonderful! I served it with mashed potatoes, green beans and a salad. So delicious! We loved it! Thank you for the recipe!

Thank you again! I have to go buy the can soup. I plan on making this today along with the mashed potatoes. I live alone so I share with friends. We are all seniors. There is 3 ladies and 1 gentlemen and he is the only one that will do some cooking. One lady only eats TV dinners and the others do very little cooking if any. I love to cook and I like to share or else I would be eating the same thing for breakfast lunch and dinner since I have the freezer that is not very big. They really enjoy what I make . Alot of what I have shared with them is your recipes. The gentlemen wanted your ramen beef stroganoff recipe! TYSM!!!

Hello Catherine...I am terribly happy to have found your channel.......I am a demo chef at a grocery store and have been allowed to use my own variations of recipes- depending what protein is on sale during the week-........Because of the pandemic I have not been allowed to cook for a year now but the future is looking well........I have been starting to look for simple one pot type dishes to present to my customers.....thank you and I look forward to exploring the rest of your channel.........Cheers!

I'm know they are ,but with your gallbladder if your going to make this eat something that will now put you in a world of pain ! I've had to have my gallbladder out so I know what kind of pain you're be in ! But to tell the truth all of Cathy 's food is Amazing I try to make as much as I can 🙃

@@kathyelliott6051 actually the only time I had gallbladder trouble was with my 2 pregnancies, I remember having this dish after my daughter was born and it killed me with pain. It was so bad I needed to go to the e.r. I did a gallbladder cleanse and it's fine. I've just been afraid to try and eat it again. Might give this recipe a try. Thanks!

I just made this, oh my!! This recipe I believe knocked my stuffed peppers out of its top spot!! The video version shows where to put the 2nd tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, the written version does not. This recipe is award winning!!! PS, I only had provolone & it was fabulous!!!

Catherine..I watch your videos all the time. I love your simple, everyday good food. But, I live in Mexico City, so a lot of ingredients americans are used to aren't available here. I have been looking for onion soup mix for year. You can't find it. You can't find chili powder. Mexican chili en polvo is just ground chilis. But I make what I can of your recipes and substitute as closely as possible. We love watching you!
