French PM booed and called to resign as she pushes pension reform without vote

French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne used a special procedure to push an unpopular pensions bill through the National Assembly without a vote on Thursday, while left-wing lawmakers shouted and brandished placards opposing the reform.
The move will ensure the bill raising the retirement age by two years to 64 - which the government says is essential to ensure the pension system does not go bust - is adopted after weeks of protests and fractious debate.
But it also shows President Emmanuel Macron and his government failed to garner a majority in parliament, in a blow to the centrist president and his ability to win support from other parties for further reforms.
Borne was greeted by boos and jeers as she arrived in the National Assembly, the lower house of parliament, to announce that she would invoke article 49.3 of the constitution to skip a vote on the reform measures.
The session was suspended for two minutes after left-wing lawmakers singing the national anthem prevented Borne from speaking. Some held placards reading "No to 64 years"

The main thing tourists would be shocked about right now is the crazy amount of trash in the streets due to the strike. There's no saying how it will turn out next Thursday though !

L'esprit du "port franc" est bien lié à la "liberté" du drapeau tricolore (drapeau français) de "liberté (bleu), égalité (blanc), fraternité (rouge)", et pour une raison quelconque, je ressens une vérité mystérieuse， dans cette 【La Marseillaise】. Et le « bleu » du drapeau tricolore, qui signifie « liberté », me donne un sentiment de liberté enchanteur, habilement influencé par le flux de la mer bleue, dans l'écoulement du temps, sous le ciel bleu de Marseille, berceau de 【La Marseillaise】. Et encore une fois, Marseille a un climat méditerranéen chaud et humide, avec des journées ensoleillées la majeure partie de l'année, et l'ambiance est très agréable, j'ai l'impression que cela se reflète dans une certaine mesure. De plus, cette 【La Marseillaise】, qui a une telle atmosphère, réveille le tempérament français unique, hérite du souffle de l'époque qui symbolise la France turbulente appelée la Révolution française, et a un sentiment de patriotisme et d'unité, c'est vraiment un chanson qui fait époque, très accessible et belle à écouter, belle et touchante, émouvante, qui maintient (montre) une disposition dramatique au présent, passionnée et dynamique, littéralement française, c'est ce que je pense. Aussi, cette 【La Marseillaise】 qui tremble l'âme et se réjouit en liberté, continue de porter jusqu'à présent l'esprit de l'époque légendaire, et continuera d'être un symbole du futur, sous les toits de Paris, comme l'Eiffel Tower， je ressens la romance idéale qui continuera à être l'essence de la France, résonnant et résonnant même dans des coins inconnus de la terre pendant de nombreuses années à venir. 🎠Les traditions légendaires et traditionnelles de la turbulente Révolution française, les mélodies courageuses et pures, belles et excitantes, roulantes, douces et romantiques, sont transmises avec un sentiment original et dynamique qui reste inchangé même à l'époque d'aujourd'hui. Des années de mauvaise politique (Comment a t'il pu être réélu ?). Le pays part en sucette (budget mal géré - pour donner et encore donner aux pays étrangers, il y a de l'argent - , insécurité grandissante, immigration incontrôlée et massive, service public qui part en lambeau, taux de chômage catastrophique malgré ce que disent les chiffres etc..), un Président méprisant, qui n'aime ni son pays, ni ses citoyens. Un homme qui fait trop pour les extras riches et enfonce les pauvres et les classes moyennes. Un homme qui n'écoute personne et s'entête d'agir à sa façon. Les conditions de travail se sont dégradées, les salaires ne suivent pas l'inflation, les députés et ministres se gavent à n'en plus pouvoir et c'est au peuple de se serrer encore et toujours les ceinture. Voilà pourquoi nous les français ne voulons pas de cette réforme. Le pire est le fait de faire la sourde oreille, de ne pas recevoir les syndicats. La goutte d'eau qui a fait déborder le vase, ce 49.3 anti démocratique fait que ça va vraiment péter. Le peuple dit non, la majorité dit non et pourtant, Monsieur Macron s'obstine dans cette réforme injuste. C'est scandaleux, c'est honteux.

The retirement age is is unequal and unfair. Blue collar workers start working far earlier than university graduated white collar workers. It is disadvantageous to manual laborers to agree for 64 age cap.
