Our friends wanted to stay on purpose! They even asked my sister to book the most haunted room,304 or 204.... can't remember. They were given 2 sets of keys, one for the deadbolt and one for the regular lock. NONE of us could open the door until the fourth person tried. He put the key in the REGULAR lock......and the deadbolt clicked open on it's own. Later on we asked why I friends would never show up when we texted them where we were. They said they always felt drained and would fall dead to sleep whenever they entered the room (one of the symptoms people complained about). Lastly our friend was there with his new boyfriend. Well one night when he was "dreaming" a woman walked out of the bathroom dressed like the 1800's with dark hair in a bun with a part down the middle. In his "dream" she was asking him questions and he would answer. She turn to his partner and said "And who is this?" He explained, the woman said " Is this someone you trust?" When he said yes she pressed him.."you trust this man?" He reiterated yes. She said "Very well....open your eyes then." He opened his eyes laying there in the dark thinking what a weird dream. He turned over to look at his new boyfriend...and he was texting another guy! He never asked for haunted rooms again! 😄

The Jackson is also where Tia Torres stayed for a couple months while having work done where she lived and she had a few different experiences while being there and she tried having one of the dogs stay there with her because she had the dog in training but the dog would not stop pacing and wouldn't rest while there so she had to take the dog to her daughter at night because it did not want to be anywhere in or near that building!

I moved back to New Orleans January 2020 and moved into a room in a house that was in your thumbnail, down the street from the Sultan house, and didn’t know the story until I moved out 😅 Ghost tours would stop outside my front door and I would leave for work and wave at worried looking tourists.

I love the French Quarter architecture style....especially the upper level "wraparound balconies" (I am sure that is not the right term to use.....) with the wrought iron railings. But that exotic, historically rich city has also attracted a very "dark" history. This video is very well done.....left me a little shaken.
@rottenapplemania

The "Sultan's House" never happened. There are no records in the news of Foreign Royalties visiting. It would have been in the papers, Royal branch is assassinated. Hell the Prince of Nepal's murderous rampage on his own family really made headlines... This would have been a serious serious bleep up involving the country the Sultan's from, the Federal and State authorities.

We wasn't even trying to be apart, we wad trying to take a pic and get away from a man that was hastling us(scared). Unbelievable and if you know this lady she should be fired.
