Is a contraction possible here? Tu aurais pu te faire mal = T’aurais pu te faire mal ?

This kind of contraction happens all the time in speech, but technically it is incorrect. You're not supposed to ever make a contraction with "tu". You can with "te" though. Remember, people do it all the time in informal spoken French.
