I've been playing sheik on and off ever since ultimate came out. She's my favorite character to play but she felt very unrewarding and had to do way more work than other characters to get the same percent. After seeing your videos I've been feeling her all over again. Thanks Man!

I was labing a 60 percent combo. If you teact to their di it's true and I feel it can push sheik's meta. Fair, dthrow, up air down, fthrow, fullhop(charded)needls, up air, fthrow, bfish

i’ve recently experimented with sheik and a good mix up is to condition ur opponent to shield when u jump at them and then jump in front of them and throw out side b so the bomb lands behind them and down tilt for a kill 100-ish percent

Why exactly is that good. Grenade is horrible in neutral usually, it’s way too laggy. It’s most useful when setting up for ledgetrapping, and edgeguarding. There are better options you could do in that situation

It’s all about timing. F throw > dash forward > jump > needles. I kind of do a sliding motion with my finger so I quickly hit the y button and then slide down on the b button so I can do a full hop rising needles as quick as possible. If you press the jump very quickly during this sliding motion, you can also get an instant shorthop rising needles, which is useful for other combos.

Do you have to fastfall in the sheik loop? Because O did it without fastfalling and just delayed the up air a little bit so sheik would hit the ground before the last hit but I’m not sure if it is still true

The hitbox is only at the very start, so you have to hit them when They are literally Either inside you or when they’re at your feet, otherwise They just Get hit away

because she has no combos. Depends on DI. If u play against someone who is shit you can "combo" him a´hard.Good players can react very fast. There is a reason why most sheik mains drop her. Almost no combos, extreme low damage, cant kill.

Right except they don’t. The basis for 90% of these combos is Fthrow > fair. Which is not a true combo unless they are like below ten or something. You can just DI it. So almost none of these are true combos and only work if your opponent misses their DI.

I dont think really any of these are true. Fthrow > Fair isn’t a true combo if your opponent DIs. Great quality video though i appreciate the effort. It’s just that these will only work against noobs. And can only work against good players if they screw up and miss their DI.

DI can be read and chased. Shiek can be optimized to punish DI out so she can condition for DI in.

@@sd-king2916 I'm not too much of a shiek expert, but getting in a position where di out = landing on a platform helps a lot. If you have a second controller to di out with, lab out the the percents and distances for landing on platforms with fthrow, or ask sheikcords for answers because they probably have some info.

Yes it is. It is a very beginner level sheik true combo that starts working at 0. Doesn’t come up as true on the combo counter until a percent like 20 or something, but it is completely true even at 0. The combo counter is accurate sometimes, but sometimes it isn’t
