Oh my goodness! I love fried okra and fresh fried okra is my favorite. I use the tips of the okra too but not the caps. Your okra looks delicious. Love it! With fish and chicken I actually cook it before mine was from the store and I cook it until it started to float up then I took it out and it was ready. Fried okra is my favorite, especially from Captain D’s Restaurant! I cook mine with buttermilk and the already seafood mix and sometimes I switch it up with hush puppies seasoning, I even do it Cajun style by adding Ole Bay Seasoning. Fried okra is so good for the body and have so many nutrients! I love it in my cabbages and peas as well!!!! I can eat okra every day!! I cook it till it’s golden brown and love to eat it with fried fish as well and other fried seafoods‼️‼️❤️❤️❤️

I love your cooking! I am going to cook some today. Someone gave me some fresh okra. Need to go to market to get self rising flour. I cooked your okra, tomatoes, onion, and bacon recipe. Mae I've been cooking about 60 years and though I LOVE fried okra I've never fried it and didn't know how! Thank you, thank you! thank you! My Mama fixed okra all kinds of ways but never fried. We would smother it, boil it with tomatoes and put it in collards, speckled butter beans and crowder peas, all kind of ways! I got one tip I want to let you know; only use one or two eggs if you aren't frying a large amount. I could have easily used only two with the amount I had. I love me some okra when I used to live down south my mother in law had okra 6 foot tall I would put on my strawhat in go into the back yard with a big pan and cut okra from the vine wash them up had beacon frying , with white rice done save some of the grease from the bacon in Fry my okra in the bacon grease and that was dinner
