It's called a J-cut when the audio from the next clip is added in while the video from the previous clip is still playing. To pronounce "interdit" in French, think of it as: "uh-tair-dee" With: "uh" sounding like the "uh" in "uh-huh", "tair" the T sound + similar to the "air" in "the air i'm breathing" but with a sharper rolling R like in spanish, "dee" pronounced clearly. hope that helps!
