I know some of the cinematics have an audio filter. They were BLOCKED by Copyright and after 3 hours, this is how we managed to actually post it. Its still demonetized. I don't know why other people don't have the same issues, f*** me I guess 🤷‍♂

Riot does not own the rights to the music. Its held by companies like Sony, UMG, MINT_BMG. These entities copyright claimed the video so its demonetized (I make no money). For some reason on top of demonetizing, the video was also getting "blocked" to 20% of my audience because of the two videos we added a filter on. Again, I don't know why I'm singled out but I gotta just deal with it I guess.

@@FreshestAnime The problem might be that this video isn't transformative enough. I've heard another KZbinr once talking about transformative content meaning how much do you transform this video into something that is more of you vs more of copyrighted content. The video is almost a hour long. How much of that video is you simply enjoying copyrighted music vs you adding your own commentary. If you added more commentary vs copyrighted music you can argue that you've transformed the content enough.

Didn't see anyone comment on the phoenix video (where they push 3 players specifically) and it's actually a really funny coincidence. The 4 teams in the semi-finals that year were G2, iG, T1 (Who had the players featured in the video) and the eventual winners, funplus Phoenix, which led to everyone pointing to the title of the song saying it predicted everything.

29:25 - Somewhat beautifully the 3 players in this video: Caps, Faker and Rookie all made it to the semi finals with their respective teams... the team who eventually won was the 4th semi finalists... FPX. FPX stands for Funplus Phoenix... The name of the song is phoenix. (The song was made before any of this happened, scripted much).

About the 2015 one, yeah, that was a recall of what happened along the tournament prior to the final match. iirc that year didnt had a cinematic at all, just the song and maybe some short promo videos. The team at the last of the 2018 video was Samsung Galaxy, the champions from 2017. The main character from the video is Ambition, the then jungler from Samsung Galaxy.

The TSM player is TheOddOne with his jungle elise in the ignite video. Phoenix is a bit underrated, i love the lyrics about fighting your negative thoughts and people doubting you. Faker was called shaker and being washed during that time, you can see negative comments in korean behind him with the karma silhouette.

The Rise cinematic features Ambition, the jungler of Samsung Galaxy (now GenG). His fight with Faker at the end of the cinematic represents his team defeating T1 during Worlds 2017 and ending the SKT1 dynasty. Faker would not win another Worlds, or pretty much any tournament, for 6 years after that until 2023. That's why he's mostly absent from a lot of cinematics after 2017. Among all Worlds Cinematic, Nothing hits hard like Legends Never Die. Because during that time SKT has solidified their legacy and rose up to the status as Legends. It's kinda poetic tho, other teams win Worlds and somehow or somewhat they're forgotten or but SKT didn't.

XD The last two songs has the best story; 1. Deft Journey, 2. Faker maintaining his status as the GOAT. And yes Faker won this year, and was MVP.

The interesting part in Pheonix (2019) is that they chose 3 big players (almost the best of their region) that had a "bad" season in 2018, Caps of G2 (Europe), Faker of T1 (Korea) and Rookie of IG (China). In 2019, T1 won Korean championship and went to worlds semi final, IG were 2nd in China and were also in semi final. G2 won every trophy these year, almost a perfect year but lost in worlds final. So yes, they chose really well the 3 players

I can only tell you that DEFT’s experience and the entire LCK to WORLD competition that year were a miracle, the kind that could be made into a documentary. Every BO3 and BO5 game is played well and fully completed.And they, DRX, have survived it all DEFT was the most promising ADC in the world from S4 to S7, but after its golden period, it never reached the same level as before. It was surpassed by other ADCs year by year, and even planned to retire. And the outbreak that year proved itself

Ignite was all about some of the biggest plays in Worlds history. There was a video made of all the plays in Ignite, and it was really cool. Also, the 🥦 has to do with Ryze kinda looking like broccoli, and Faker lept off the throne and did a roll, which is something he did during player introductions at finals. Truly the GoaT

Yeah T1 won this year. T1 being the team faker playes for and have been playing for since he debued back in 2013. This year he won his 5th title, i deff recommend checking out his documentary "Hall of Legends" such a good one.

skt t1 (nowadays shortened to just t1) won both last and this year. Theres actually a documentary about fakers career made by riot games themselves called hall of legends: faker (made before this years worlds so not entirely up to date). And a pretty popular video called the numbers: faker | hall of legends made by the lck official account talking about his stats before this years worlds. Highly recommend watching the documentary if you want to learn more about fakers esports story

I think star walkin was by far my least favorite video. The song isnt really bad, even though I dont really care for his music in general. Just did not feel like a worlds song and video. On another note, the 2015 video was very nostalgic. For a long time league fan and has watched a lot of competitive worlds games, it is fun seeing all the OG players. The good old days. Finally stopped playing league this year. Played since 2009. Always have an itch to play and then the players always ruin it for me. Cool reaction and can't wait for the finale of arcane tomorrow!

The main character from Rise isn't exactly a "new player" so your theory isn't really right. It's about a Korean player called Ambition and he has been playing in the League pro scene before Faker, and was known as one of the best midlaners in Korea during those times, until Faker debuted and solokilled Ambition on his debut pro game. Sometime after, Ambition switched lanes to jungle, and he got very close to the Worlds trophy but Faker and his team SKT T1 defeated them on the finals of Worlds 2016. The very next year it became a rematch between Ambition's team Samsung Galaxy and Faker's team SKT T1, and SSG finally won Worlds 2017. Rise can be more seen as a legend who wasn't able to quite get to the top for a long time in his career, finally proving himself and becoming a world champion.

i wish i could literally show you how this morning my editor spent 3 hours doing multiple changes to two songs that got the entire video blocked globally. This was the outcome that allowed us to post it but it's still not monetized. Fyi what works for one channel does NOT work for all channels. KZbin's copyright detection system is not the same for everyone, I don't know why, I just know what I've seen.

Bro and all of the videos are copyright claimed despite the filter on those two songs. So I'm not making a dime off this reaction at all. I also don't currently upload these uncut to Patreon so I literally paid someone to edit the video to make nothing back. With that said, I don't mind because I had people asking for content so I made the content.
