A quart of 10W30 is about $3.50; in my opinion, very foolish not to change oil at least yearly.....

the 'no oil change' models use automotive grade parts, and likely can last 10 years (200 hours) with average use.

What do you guys think about the no more oil change concept? Not many people ever change the oil anyway, but now to claim it as a feature seems like a brilliant scam. No oil lasts forever, and it seems like there trying to say it magically dose in there lawnmower! Lol “Never worry about oil changes in your lawn mower again” Well thanks, most people never did anyway! Great video throw, and actually looks like a great mower for the money.

Make sure you spray the bottom with rust inhibitor every winter.

I can't get the carrige screw to fit in the handle. It will go in the handle but stop.

Not sure the engine should be surging like that out of the box. Doesn't take long for the gas to pick up.

I bought it from Costco and the problem I’m having is that it doesn’t pick up all the clippings….I throw the bag on in the back and it just doesn’t seem to discharge all the clippings into the bag….I have to spend so Much time cleaning up in the end, it’s a disaster.

You might’ve installed it wrong. Make sure it’s clipped with back fully open.

I just bought this mower at Costco - not because of this review, just bought it. 80% chance I’ll take it back! I had an 10 year old TB235XP and loved it. The variable speed is a joke. There is a speed knob on the underside of the levers. This helps s LITTLE. The front wheel drive sucks! The old rear wheel drive was much better. The mower cuts fine. The handles are flimsy. If you haven’t had a powered mower in the past you might like it. If you have, and it was rear wheel drive, you’re not going to like this mower.

So far so good. Don’t have any hills so the front wheel drive is sufficient. Costco return policy is the best. Handles seem fine in mine and better than any of the models in other stores which looks way worse.Thanks for watching.

I prefer FWD. My toro RWD would constantly lock up while trying to pull backward. With FWD, the nose will lift anyways while pulling backwards and never locks up.

TB does sell this model with an actual Honda engine, but unfortunately this isn't the one. Don't follow any oil change instructions. Change it every 2 seasons. Good Luck...
