Early Gaming Impressions: Simgot ET142 & Apevoix Grit

Tip of choice for the grit and ET142 was the Spinfit W1. For COD for the Grit I liked the headphone mix. Keep in mind this is a really early impression video more so comparing the two iems together. I did not have any time to test these for music yet, trying to get everything tested here for gaming first (lot of iems to wrap up)

That vibration you mentioned for the Grit is probably because of the bone conductor

I maybe have some special relationship with single DDs as they are one of the kind with producing a sound, but pleas find spare few min. And try splendor 2 on treyarch mix in warzone on Area 99. Rebirth audio is basted.....

I have notice a bit lak of excitement about grit compared to mangird tea pro 😂. I know the packaging is much more premium in Tea but if you considering those two possibly A that is a game changer in this price what grit is

How is the grit performs when compared with the lites? Are they significantly better? Is the difference between them is huge in terms of technicalities? And comfort is something that is concerned here! Which one is more comfy’er with the right tips?

I unfortunately could not an and b test them but off memory I found the grit better. They’re also more comfortable although the vibration in the shell leaves a bit to be desired

Thanks for all the great content, your reviews got me back into IEMS and I just got the Mangird Xenns Tea Pros with the Topping DX3+ and love both! Could you let me know what audio settings (and/or EQ) you use for call of duty? I run Ranked Multiplayer and wanted to fix some of the dynamic range with how loud gunfire is so I can pinpoint footsteps better without destroying my ears lol. Thanks again!

Hey Fresh! love your IEM reviews! My current headset is on its last legs, so I figured I’d try IEMs, starting with something budget like the Vivace. I mainly use them for gaming, especially audio-focused games like Tarkov. Would you recommend getting anything else to pair with them, like a DAC/amp or a different cable? If so, which ones would you suggest? (Preferably also budget)

Have you been dealing with condensation build-up inside metal shell IEMs during these winter times? I've been wanting to keep mine in the ear for longer durations without breaks, but they always end up clogging eventually by the end of the day.

For silicone tips I have a tiny ultrasonic cleaner meant for dentures. Hot water and a drop of dawn dish soap and I run a few 3 min cycles. Rinse and dry.
