Lovely Friday Sews video Steph! Congratulations on the baby 🎉🎊 looking forward to your trip video!! I love camping, but not my family 😔 so you are my only hope to enjoy some camping 😁. Thanks for sharing!

Lol. Sometimes I think I’m dragging hubby out there. But I’m convinced he loves it once we are there. Well, we had to postpone a week (again) because of rain. So here’s to next week 🤞🏻 rain or shine. 🥰

I feel so happy after watching your videos and glad that you share your life with us out here. Beautiful photos of your families' Halloween, perfect costumes all around. Wonderful to see your daughter in costume as well as the younger ones. I'm sure those costumes aren't going to be put away any time soon. The Oregon coast sounds like a great get-away . . . I hope to escape northwestern Missouri one day when travel can be done once again easily. My van has set so long that it needs a lot of TLC to get out on the road. Enjoy yours!

Hi Mary, thank you so much. I imagine that we aren’t the o lu ones who miss the open road! We had to postpone a week (again) because of rain. 🤪 I’m really looking forward to it. ☺️

Wow congratulations on the great grandchild. I'm not too much younger than you and only have 1 grandson who's almost 2! 💕🇨🇦 have fun camping and totally agree about the eating out!

Hi Cathy, lol. I was a young mom, my son was a young dad, and now my granddaughter is a young mom. That’s how that works. 😂🤣🤪 I’m so glad you agree about the eating out. SO many people love to cook when camping, they just don’t get why I don’t. Lol. 🤷🏼♀️🤣🥰

Have fun at the coast! We went to Fort Bragg and Mendocino last week. Our first time and we loved it! It wasn’t crowded at all and it was nice weather. We got to eat out so that was fun too 😊

I love your Hallmark town - it's so sweet! And the pics that your hubby took of the kids were awesome 😊. The other pattern number is probably the "dispaly number" - I really don't understand why they do that. 🧵I LOVE the color combo of your new top with the jacket - looks great. 🧵 congrats on the new family member💕

I have made the same Butterick top, out of a French terry.. the neck would not sit the way it did in the photo, and eventually I cut the whole neck off (couldn't unpick stitches buried in the fabric) and made a new style neck, a straight up cowl, that then had grommets and a tie , and of course lay down nicely. Your tee has inspired me to try again, as your neckline is much lower on the stretchy fabric, and gives almost a Vneck appearance which is very flattering:) And great photos of the kids! :)

My first thought was that your granddaughter was jumping on a trampoline of some sort. Costumes and pictures were great. Love the pictures of your town but the spoiler was the Conoco in the background...Your top is so cute. I would think most colors would look good with the jacket...maybe you could hand sew or machine sew a basting stitch on the neckband to keep it together to serge it. Stitches can be removed. Hoping you have a great time on your trip. Many blessings.
@FarrellFocus3 жыл бұрын
Hi Deb, thank you! Lol. Basting. What a simple solution. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’m such a lazy seamstress...I’m sure it makes for more work for me most times. 🤪🤣😬🥰
@roi-lynnmunsey83173 жыл бұрын
Everything turned out great. If you are worried about a section and don't want to pin for serger, you can just baste on your sewing machine. That can save you stress.

I just enjoy your videos......love the pictures....u dont give yourself enough credit...the costumes came out great.....during your Halloween we in Dominica have our independence season where we wear am whole lot of traditional wears and Madras and look pretty and colorful and eat a whole lot of traditional foods and just enjoy...if not for covid we would also have had our world Creole music festival(three whole nighta of pulsating rythms) where artists from all over the world meet and perform....we would have like a whole month of festivities....but.....Mr covid said NO....lol.....but we did enjoy our season as well it's like Christmas begins in October ...lol

I think it's great local law enforcement and fire staff were able to meet the kids in uniform. I believe it helps kids know who to trust in emergencies. Those pictures are awesome! Could the BP number be for display only and the number you wrote be on the instructions?
@FarrellFocus3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I agree! And yes, I think you’re right about the pattern, because when I googled it, the number I wrote is the correct one. How weird! 🧐🤷🏼♀️

Love those costumes! The “town” photos reveal I used to live in your Hallmark movie too! I even worked for the county . . . in that same Gold Rush town . . . years ago. Loved it! In fact, I’m taking my Dutch husband to visit the area the next time we are in the country. Pockets with zippers are my passion bc as a retired person I travel lots. Leggings should have them too. I’ll be watching for you to perfect the idea. 😂
@FarrellFocus3 жыл бұрын
Hi Barbara, you used to live in Jackson?? What a small world. So far the pockets are a great idea. I’m starting on my second pair, they need tweaking!! But I do think ALL my leggings need pockets now. 😂🤣🤪

Love your video! You've reminded me of a movie "The Long Long Trailer"? (Watch it after you get back) Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Sweet movie! It sounds like you had a wonderful Halloween! Your granddaughter's dress turned out awesome! You can check out my granddaughters' costumes I did on my IG, their mom does a wonderful job getting wigs and stuff to finish. And OMG that is Lydia from Beetlejuice! One son and his wife once did the witchdoctor and the shrunken head dude that were in the waiting room in Beetlejuice. One of our favorites! Hope you had a wonderful little vacation!
