i loooooove the whole friday the 13th tattoo tradition and have always wanted to get one. i missed the last one at the end of 2015 because of work, but this time around my schedule worked around it and i went straight to shop after work! it was pretty lowkey but then again i arrived right when the shop opened. i was about 15th on the list? i got a cute spiderweb with a bleeding pink rose. they had flash with $20 tattoos, $40, and $60.

I got my first Friday the 13th tattoo this past week, and I'm glad I didn't stray far from your advice! I was looking at Instagram pages for shops around my city for a month or so to see if they had sheets posted, and even called some shops the day of to ask if they were participating. Here in Canada the tattoo's aren't $13, but rather $31, however it's still quite the steal all things said and done. I think for people new to tattoo's it's a great way to dip their toes into the water, especially if they're curious. For someone like me who's already got 7 tattoo's in under 2 years it was a great way to quell my addiction for at least a few more weeks! My biggest advice is don't feel pressured to get something done if you're going with your friends or someone else. I really made sure I took my time with the flash sheets and knew the one that I wanted and made sure I was 100% with it before I signed anything. I wish all shops would post their sheets early, a week, or at least the day before so you don't walk in blindly and regret it the day after. The girl who chose the lipstick one, I hope she's still happy with it (it turned out REALLY nicely!) but the fact that she didn't want the 13 on there at first had me laughing a bit. Really take your time with it and know for certain the design suits you. Also, try to pick a spot that won't impede on any larger designs you may want further down the road! I chose the back of my ankle because I knew anywhere on my arms I was going to end up covering it, and I have plans for almost every spot on my body. The only place I haven't planned for (or at least am saving space for) are my ankles so I kept the design relatively out of the way. Thanks again for the great video, Qcknd! My friday the 13th tattoo happened at 1:30am. There were SO many people that they just had to give out numbers, and I was number 291. They gave out over 600 numbers and literally tattooed through the entire night until noon the next day, it was INSANE, but totally worth it!

My first ever tattoo was from a Friday the 13th flash event last year and my second was off a Halloween flash at the same shop! I just recently went to the same shop and waited five hours to get one. Not exactly ideal but the wait was worth it! The shop saw over 200 people that day 😱✨

I got two this Friday from two different shops. One shop was doing a 24 hour run. They got a good tip and I found a new shop I adore. Got a little broken wishbone, and an arrow head. I already feel more myself with ink now on my leg and arm. Breaking that ice! AHHHH HOME!

I have a F 13th tattoo I got from a flash sheet and am SO glad I was able to get it easily covered into an arm piece. I had never been to this shop before since my regular shop doesn't do these (now I know why) and it was like an assembly line. The shop also did not practice the safest hygiene because they were so focused on getting people in and out of the chair.

I have a Friday the 13th tattoo, got it this most recent Friday the 13th. My mom was born on Friday the 13th, so it was a "mothers day/Friday the 13th" type deal. It's of a candle inside of a teacup with a 13 on the teacup. I've gotten multiple Friday the 13th tattoos at different shops. The ones around where I live do $13 + a lucky $7 tip. I drove about an hour and a half to the shop my artist was at. Got there a little after 4pm and was out of there around 9pm. They did just under 300 that day. Also I always ask to leave the 13 off the design and have never been told no.

Some day they will cover my arms but as many I have a hard time to just start. For many reason. I`m in Japan ad they crack down n Tattoo shops, language barriers, time, ect. But I thought I should just do it and am thinking of a small tattoo.
