Friday The 13th Projects You'll Sadly Never Get To See

Over the course of the Friday the 13th series, fans have seen Jason Vorhees go to hell and go to space, but there have been some abandoned Friday projects that would have been even weirder. Fans had been clamoring for a Freddy vs. Jason film for years, and while the one we eventually got to see was no masterpiece, at least it didn’t go to all the disgusting places that the proposed crossover Camp Freddy would have.

The lawsuit is over. The video game was never delayed from making updates. The owner of the f13 license as well as miller have both publicly stated that. Gun media used the lawsuit as an excuse to bail on the game and start a new project which is already underway.

I don’t understand why they don’t remake the original again, have the first half hour be about him as a boy and show him getting picked on then his drowning, then the rest of the movie keep the mom out of the entire thing and make it more suspenseful with showing him coming out of the water and killing the camp councilors like the original Halloween, one by one, in not prepared for it, ways, have a chase scene and everything, then at the end have him thrown back into the water and have the last survivor leave the camp and go into the future about a year, show a couple of teenagers around the fire basically telling the entire story like it was all an urban legend the entire time, then at the last second they hear a noise coming from the water, and the screen fades to black.

Oh man, i bet after the release of *Halloween (2018)* ,Friday the 13th is next (i.e 2020) and maybe Nightmare on elmstreet in 2021 or 2022 just like in 1978 Carpenter release his original *HALLOWEEN* movie then in 1980 The first *Friday the 13th* were released then in 1984 *Nightmare on elmstreet* were released & again in 2007 Rob Zombie release his Halloween (new stories) then in 2009 Friday the 13th (reboot) were released then in 2010 Nightmare on Elmstreet (reboot) were released...its like a *Slasher Race*

Texas Chainsaw is also part of the pattern as well (makes sense as these four series are the Slasher Big Four) and usually is one of the firsts to start the next trend: TCM ‘74 before H1; some of the first slasher movies TCM ‘03 before H1 ‘07; popularized that decade’s remake trend Texas Chainsaw ‘13: did the whole “direct sequel to the original” before Halloween ‘18. I expect Friday the 13th and Nightmare to follow suit with sequels that also ignore all other sequels and just follow the originals.

Okay, this could very well be nothing more than some fever dream I had, but I swear there was a rumor floating around a few years ago that they were actually going to make... get ready for it... a *Jason vs Godzilla* movie. Now *that's* a crossover I'd love to see, if for no other reason than to see how the filmmakers could make such an absurd concept work. Every time I even try to speculate on it, my thought-train just screeches to a halt. And honestly, they could do *anything* and it wouldn't matter; they could pull it off flawlessly, or they could make a movie that's completely nonsensical and batshit insane... either way, the audience wins. There's simply no way that Jason Voorhees battling the King of the Monsters for 90 minutes could *not* be pure entertainment.

The tv show idea could have been cool because on the season finale they could reveal that it wasn't Jason but a copycat and right as you find out its a copycat the real Jason shows up and kills the copycat. That would be a good way to set up a second season or a new movie

How about a prequel series like "Bates Hotel" centered around Jason's mom? Jason drowns and she goes crazy, eventually being committed after unsuccessfully suing the camp. She escapes and attempts to bring back her son through occult means. And killing the counselors she says failed Jason as part of the ritual..

I like the plot of when Freddy Kruger is the young camp counselor that did not do anything when Jason was drowning in the lake then years later Jason figures out what Freddy did. This would’ve been better than what we got back in 2004 Freddy Vs. Jason

Another Friday a sequel to the first or second, third whatever like Halloween and another Nightmare same then maybe should be an end to all the series Halloween redeemed itself so maybe Friday and Nightmare can then end it but I would watch/like a slasherverse with all the franchises in Evil Dead, Texas Chainsaw etc

I agree his jacket in the the summer look is horrible and the freddy vs Jason look was garbage. Hope paramount gets the project. And it ain't a damn f13th film unless Harry Manfidini does the music on the film. It set them apart from any horror franchise just like the music in Halloween does. You don't mess with that part it's what threw off the 2009 film. Jason looked his best in 2,4,6,7 that's Jason.

The first one they talked about called Nightmare 13.. It started of good with Freddy being the camp counselor who kill Jason.. Then went to shits with them fighting in hell in a boxing ring.. Yep the 80s..
