I cut mine to look like WW1 Iron Crosses. They just fry up so good that way. Toast, lettuce and tomato. Mayo and mustard. Crispy. Crunchy. Like a BLT, but the B is for Bologna. I should add bacon. BBLT. Xtra mayo!

Oh man, my Uncle, who's from the South, used to buy the huge round of red string bologna & he would cut his real thick and fry it. I liked my slices thin and placed on the softest white bread 🍞 but untoasted that I could find. Sometimes I would add mayo. Sometimes brown mustard. They were delicious I'll be going back to being gluten free in a few days. Think I'll have a fried bologna sandwich 🥪 on soft white "normal" wheat bread as a last hurray 😅😮😢

I made this when I was growing up too , I think it was a Great Depression meal that I got from my grandparents 🥘 The potatoes and kielbasa skillet meal was another from the Great Depression 🥘 Sometimes the simple things in life are the best ❤️

Dont use grease No need They have enough fat themselves to survive a nonstick pan and still get a nice searing. Baked beans, a couple of fried egg and hash and you are peachy even if you have a job to do after
