After finally playing the combo model of this amp I can say it's the best sounding and most useful amp I've used. I've got a new one inbound and it will replace a couple amps I'll no longer need. It's scary good and one of the few rare two-channel amps that can be set up clean/dirty and both sound amazing.

Could I do some hot country, Brad Paisley styled stuff and chunky slightly broken up Hendeix, SRV type blues but then also go into some Guns n roses, Led Zeppelin and AC DC. I know a lot of styles and big ask!

I always felt like Dirty Shirleys twin sister would be Sweaty Betty. Love that amp though, the Dirty Shirley is my favorite sounding amp and hopefully someday I will own one.

I just traded a Strat for a 2005 Gibson SG 61 Reissue and this is best SG of the bunch I’ve owned over the years. Running it through a Peavey Classic and HX Stomp XL

hey rj--glad u escaped the flooding. also--i'm sitting here working on the barry harris chromatic scale in 3rds on my Gibson Custom Shop 61 reissue SG in heavy aged pelham blue! actually looks like the same green as a '72 chevy nova. Was not expecting you to bust out an SG. agree on the batwing pickguard ones, btw.

I got the combo and it’s too loud. The speaker is a red back 16ohm but I noticed the amp was set at 4ohm from the factory. Is that the problem? Do they need to match? Would that bring it down? I don’t hear the strings when I play with master almost off.
