What do you mean you “can’t make sense of it”? Bulldog breeding is cruel! They can barely breathe and are fraught with health problems! Aren’t they the breed whose hips have been made so small, that they can’t give birth? They have to have their puppies surgically removed! This isn’t about how cute they are, this isn’t about how aggressive they are, or aren’t, with humans! It’s about making dogs that live their lives in pain and in poor health. What is so difficult to understand, about that?

It’s sad that it’s the humans that have caused this suffering by breeding dogs to meet a specific aesthetic. The breeds in their original and natural forms looked very different to what we see today. The same thing has happened with certain breeds of cat as well.

So true! We've designed dogs for looks & not for their well being! Lisa Vanderpump tried to save dogs from torture killing in China & certain dogs can't even breathe on the airplane! She was the 1st to open my eyes to these probs. Not being able to give birth naturally is so sad!

@elainehenning13872 жыл бұрын
Agree I’ve had Dalmations and you have to be careful because there is so much interbreeding them there are many health issues and it affects their temperament. I have always purchased Dalmations who had their papers only so I knew the lineage. I would always tell the breeders I don’t plan on breeding them and would have them neutered so the papers to me were only for my personal information I am not registering the dog with the AKC either. Therefore I could usually get a discount. The last Dalmation I got was for my daughter as a graduation gift from pharmacy school she is a runner and wanted a dog to run with. I went to see the litter of pups at a week old which it’s hard to tell what they’ll look like with no spots but there was a sweet little female that enjoyed human touch and holding. When I went back at six weeks I could tell just which one she was because as soon as she felt your hand she would just stay right there so calmly. But the was this spunky male that looked like he had a rack of pool balls on his snout. After spending some time with the pups I was having a hard time deciding. I started taking with the breaker who was busy when I arrived. She told me the sweet female pup was deaf. Which is one of the things that happen often in interbreeding in Dalmations but is a trait that is carried in Dalmations. Since it was a gift for my daughter I ended up getting the male but felt awful for the deaf female. Like she was the little kid at the orphanage that didn’t get adopted. I still had to wait 2 weeks yet to pick up the pup which timing was perfect with my daughters graduation and moving back home. She went away for college. I was still feeling bad about my decision in the puppy. I knew my daughter is an animal lover and would love a deaf dog also. My others daughter tried to convince to get both but that was out of my budget at the time. Two days later the breeder had called me and asked if I would like the little deaf pup. I said I really can’t afford that at this time. She said oh no I don’t want you to pay for her I saw how much you loved her and she will do much better being with one of her siblings. So ended up giving my daughter 2 pups named Brutus and Scarlet who will be 8 this March. Both are doing well. Taught the dog hand signals for commands,which was easier than expected. The breeder being responsible the mother of the pups was not going to be bred again, that was her first litter she had 11 pups. Because of 1 deaf pup she must carry the gene. The father was bred 3x previously with out any deaf pups. Bottom line people who get dogs and then decide oh my friend has same breed. We will let them have a couple litters of pups and make some money. They don’t know if these dogs are related or may have some health risk. Plus any dog that is not neutered or spayed can end up having pups not by the owners choice. Breeders and pet owners need to take responsibility.

Beautiful girls - unbelievable what she’s gone through. I don’t think that they are recommending not breeding those dogs because they are vicious or mean. It is due to the problems mentioned for the dog. Not only do those two dogs have that condition, a lot of small dogs have it. I have two Poms that have it and know other family with small dogs that have it. And those Cromblys need to go to jail. That boy had serious mental issues that could have been addressed and handled in some way BEFORE he did what he did. My God he was texting about people in the house and demons and they did nothing. They knew he was sick. Jenifer told people her son was weird. And what do they do......buy him a gun. All that money they spent on their horses but never took Ethan to get help. All the time they spent with their jobs and horses, and Ethan was home. And Ethan will be in jail for the rest of his life. This just disgusts me.

It's not because those dogs are dangerous, and it's not even a little bit confusing: If you want to watch a pet suffer all kinds of congenital ailments and have as many trips to the vet as possible? Buy a puppy from champion parents of certain breeds. The "ideal" race standards are unhealthy for the pups, and Norway cares about animal welfare more than pet owners and breeders, and their "rights" to buy dogs that are deliberately bred to suffer. Is prioritizing animal welfare really that controversial? If so, that's a crying shame. Dogs are living beings, not designer objects.

I do not think it’s the guns that’s the problem, look at the mental illness, anger, and these emotional problems. This is what kills. They would find other ways to kill and maim. Guns are not the problem as much as the way people handle life. Let’s start studying the why’s. To me we need to seek out what’s happening with control,jealousy and other issues that cause these actions. Rage and violence that lead to homicide will still happen,if the reasons aren’t dealt with first. What a brave woman!

In fact I will go as far as saying that politicians thrive on being able to blame the tool, instead of the person using it. As a foster/volunteer in animal rescue, I can tell you that the neonates we get in with birth defects most often are French Bulldogs and other popular breeds. We have to tube feed them because they are often born with a cleft palate and/or cleft lip, 90% of which have hydrocephalus and sometimes megaesophagus. Most often, if they have one birth defect they have several. With the cleft palate pups they only have about a 50% survival rate (with round the clock care from a medical foster). I've not reached that part of the video yet but happy a professional is saying we shouldn't be breeding these dogs anymore. I can understand why you feel that way, but it’s not only unfair it’s also unrealistic. You can’t expect people who have loved and cared about a person for many years to just turn their love off because they did a truly horrible thing. Especially when the person never knew about or witnessed that darker side of him. He doesn’t know the criminal. He only knows his friend. And the lifetime of happy memories these friends have together makes it practically impossible for a person not to have a certain level of empathy for their loved one and this leads them to instinctively, but unintentionally, defend the person they once knew. Love is the most powerful force on this planet, and it’s not a faucet that you can just turn on or off on a whim. Your feelings are obviously valid, but it’s incredibly important that we realize that the loved ones of a criminal are often victims to some extent as well. Anyways, I’m gonna get off my soapbox now🤣 have a great day!

How do we get women to realize that when in a toxic relationship that you need to get out? That is the real question in the last story. Since when does anyone's rights be contingent on the words of another person. Ex wives or people involved in a divorce are not good references for anything. The many stories of false accusations of child abuse, neglect, and violence toward the supposed endangered spouse have to be properly adjudicated and have a clear legal reason for denying anyone access to their legal rights. These rights include access to their children, right to own firearms, and more. If you can make the case for the police to do a psychiatric intervention, then do it. But you cannot just make unfounded accusations to serve your own ends. Unfortunately, some women do this making it harder for those really at risk of bad actors. You need to be honest about this. There are dangerous women out there as well as men. It is often twice as hard for any man to get a woman who is out of control.

Kinda still is.. Theres a few caves on the arkansas side of the old bootleggers cave. Thats real close to the old bootleggers cave that would serve as a good hidey hole. I know a many caves. One of em is a cave with a skeleton sittin in a chair with skeleton of a dog right next to a chair and on the human remains lap is a shotgun.. A real funny thing about this cave.. If you get to close. Something will stop you in your tracks. Like a spirit. Them hairs on the back on your neck will stand up. Like a peter tingle. Spidey senses..

@Patsy k the story wasn’t widely circulated when I made that comment, most local articles were published a few days later. I have a subscription to the star news alerts and it wasn’t a top story. We get amber alerts at 4am about a missing child 5 counties away, just saying there should probably be a similar system in place for events like this.

What about knives, strangulation, etc If a person is inclined to kill they will find a way. With great love and respect to the Mother, and may the girls Rest In Peace. Perhaps the Mother should have let someone know the husbands abuse. That is the One Call that needed to be made.
@Galaxie082 жыл бұрын
Strangulation and even a knife is a more personal way to kill because one has to get close to and touch the victim. It's not impersonal like a gun where one can just stand at a distance. Strangulation is actually a really bad comparison. Guess why non-gun crazy countries with common sense have so few (mass) shootings? Or do the mass shooting victims don't count? Shoot a round with an automatic & you can kill several people in less than a minute, which is not possible with a knife.

The friend makes a good point about how some men are embarrassed to talk about their relationships with women; especially if there’s infidelity involved. May God intervene and bless the victims; also May God continue to watch over the felons families. They need wisdom and strength to carry on also . Don’t dance with the devil; only bad things will be the outcome. Call upon our Lord Jesus, he will give us peace that surpasses all understanding 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

It is called PEOPLE violence. NOT gun violence. Give me a break, Ashley. Don’t blame the tool. BLAME THE PEOPLE! Those that are capable of this horrible evil are the problem not what they chose to use to commit their acts.

GUN violence. I know you gun-crazies don't like to hear it, living in your 'the ancient 2nd Amendment has more value than human life' bubble. I'm sure the two 8- and 11-year old kids who joined the victims this past weekend would 'thank' you.

@@Galaxie08 what a nasty, short sighted comment. It is beyond sad to hear that there have been more deaths because of the outrageous crimes and violence happening in our cities across the country. It needs to STOP. But it won’t stop unless we address the root causes I pray for those families who lost loved ones, as I have, in these tragedies. I’m tired of people blaming the tool and not the person(s). If we don’t talk about the many years (in most cases) of behavior and other factors that happen before the violent act occurs, and address that, then we are not being realistic. By the way - most violent acts that a occur by use of a firearm are NOT legally owned by the user. They have been obtained, and kept, illegally in most cases. Look it up for yourself. Statistics and facts matter. So does behavior. It also matters whether we address the things that lead to the act occurring. I’m not some advocate that will argue because you don’t like guns. Most people who are law abiding gun owners are not gun-crazies. I’m SO THANKFUL for the freedoms of what you call the “antiquated” constitution. Our constitution is an amazing thing and allows us the freedoms we all enjoy in this country. The constitution isn’t to blame for the crime either. So short sighted. So very narrow minded. Where does it stop? Maybe we should outlaw knives? Baseball bats? I’ve watched several trials where those were used as the murder weapon. How about motor vehicles? They kill so many people every year. They have also been used as weapons. In the parade tragedy most recently. Where do we address the person committing the crime and make it about them and prior behaviors and in most cases years of other factors and not the tool the criminal chooses?
@mebhi22 жыл бұрын
It’s obvious that man was determined to kill! If he hadn’t got a gun he would has used a knife? Ball bat? Car? Truck? Not having a gun wouldn’t have stopped him….. does anyone actually think not having a gun is a cure for evil?
@Galaxie082 жыл бұрын
@@mebhi2 In the real world, mass SHOOTERS kill with GUNS, not with baseball bats or other tools. They also don't drive cars into buildings like schools, supermarkets, theaters, spas, company buildings and university campuses. With a gun/rifle, one can stand there & fire & kill (whether inside a building or outdoors) dozens within minutes. Gun obsession is out of control in this country.
@Galaxie082 жыл бұрын
@@athompson5089 We just have to agree that we disagree. It has reached a point where people now shoot just because of simple disagreements, road rage, domestic violence. Just because they have a gun within reach. I'm German (but live in the US), and there was a school lockdown in Germany last week, only because someone reported they saw a guy walking into the school with a gun. LE found nothing. But it was Breaking News because it's so rare. With that said, I'm out. (Btw., mass shooters use GUNS/RIFLES, not some other tools. Because that way, they can kill many people within mere minutes without having to touch them.)

Come on Ashley - you are SO overdramatic. You say because someone sent ONE text that included something about their job, then that is their ONLY concern? That is such a lie. We all think thousands of times faster than we do anything else. When I’m upset / worried / stressed I feel the weight of EVERYTHING. In fact, sometimes getting the different worries to stop running through my mind is the most difficult part of dealing with it. These parents have been through hell too. I don’t doubt they wish they could change SO MANY things. In fact based on some of the things we heard in today hearing, it is clear they felt that way. Such a TRAGEDY!
