It's too pop for Final Fantasy, especially the older ones... Or do you mean right at the beginning and not the main melody? Maybe the beginning a bit, although I still don't really think so... I kinda see what you mean, but I'd say Final Fantasy music, especially back then, was a bit more rigid or traditionally classical in a way... Not sure quite how to explain it, but yeah... Not quite the same feel, I don't think... Oh well...
