Awwwwww, dear Apollo, the one to come over for some love from Rens and to say hello to his neighbors!!!😀He’s such a love! Friesians! What is it they say, that they are the Labrador retrievers of the equine world, sociable and wanting to be with their people!!!! This reminded me of the first video I saw that made me want to subscribe-Koning meeting the neighbor cows. That was priceless!!!🤣🤣🤣

Apollo is looking over the fence , and sussing out the field . Just in case he manages to get in and merge with the cows.. checking out the grass and room. had the farmer had the Holstein cows wouldn’t have been so noticeable. He is lovely. What a treat to have them closer.. it’s good that they hear the machinery noises and heavier traffic, safe in their paddock, and get use to it . Rather than out riding and going nuts..

Hi Tara and Rens...Perfect video after the nail biting ones over the last few days. Feeling nicely chilled and relaxed again now. So nice to see your day to day life at home, especially knowing you and Rens are enjoying sitting in the garden watching you beautiful gleaming boys in the new paddock. I often think what a blessing the new paddock is. When that huge old ash tree came down in that powerful wind, it was a shock, and sad. But look at the lemonade you've made when life gave you lemons! I think I would love to sit out and watch the horses, and their cow neighbors, enjoy the grass, sunshine and shade! And what a joy to let them graze right at home, just out the back door! Giggle of the day so far, right at the start of the video when Farouk flew past Apollo frolicking. "Kids!" as he was eating and not in the mood to play. Second giggle, the overseeing of them by your dog. "I got it mom, you can go back inside." when he stopped looking at the boys and turned to you. Apollo staring at the cows at the front of the paddock, "The neighbors sure have some strange looking ponies for their kids." Apollo staring over the fence at the cow. "How rude! I'm trying to start a conversation up here and you just stand there starting at me?" Later on while still watching. "Okay, well at least we understand that I'm the boss because I'm the one that can move the legs." Laughing hysterically by his victory without having to utter a sound. LOL

Poor Apollo 😕 he gave those cows his very best cheesiest grin but they kept ignoring him. horse-cow communication is so fascinating. the cow just weed and went passed Apollo who in turn smelled it and did the Flehmen response. taking care of horses takes so much time, is it a full time job? i guess if you are dedicated.

How beautiful! I felt so relaxed and peaceful just watching it. Your paddock grass doesn’t seem to have weed species - is that common in the British Isles? In the US we have an awful time with weeds and of course we can’t treat it because the animals are eating the grass.
