Good to see you back at it, Landon. Looking at your bookshelf behind you, I am curious to hear your thoughts on Doctor Sleep. I know that the movie is coming out soon and that it is a sequel to The Shining but how does it compare, in your opinion? I think that it's interesting that a movie is being produced on a relatively recent King novel that seems to be somewhat forgotten even though it follows up a very well known classic.

Hey, I see Insomnia on the bookshelf behind you...you must have gotten it back from your friend. Congrats! You were spot on about Pet Semetary being scary - dead Gage is uber creepy. I liked the movie but I prefer books to movies generally since I find it better to let my imagination run with the words Stephen writes down for us. 👌😉

The person you bury up in the Pet Sematary absolutely tries to kill you. Church tried to kill Louis by tripping him down the stairs, but Louis caught himself on the banister. Gage tried to kill Louis, but he was ready for Gage's every move, unlike Rachel. Rachel is the only one that is left to our imagination........we never quite know what she does to Louis, but it's more than likely that she too tried to kill him.

Oh and Church tried to kill Louis in his sleep as well, but once Louis woke up he threw the cat off his chest. This was in the scene where Gage is choking on his milk, and Louis is having a nightmare and suffocating during it. Church had been sitting on his chest stealing his breath like the famous cat's myth. Had Rachel not screamed and woken Louis up, he may have suffocated as Gage also would have.

Thanks for the video my man! Love Pet Semetarty. It's in my top five. Harrowing story and the ending is phenomenonal. Who said Stephen King can't write endings?

My very first SK book. I read it when i was 13 back in 1993 and it made me a lifelong fan of his work and my favourite author. Ps: Zelda had Spinal Meningitis
