After six years I am listening this song again. When I was younger, I went to Eastern Europe and met a friend there. He offered me to go to Palestine with him, and I followed him. In those days things were much calmer, you could move around freely. One evening, as the sun was setting, we sat down at the top of a hill. In silence. After a few minutes, without speaking, he took his phone and chose to put this song. I remember feeling of peace I've never felt since. He died two years ago. Today, I listen to that sound again by chance, and the magical power of music, which takes us on a journey into our past and into the beauty of memory brings tears to my eyes. Enjoy these precious times, enjoy the people you love. If you're here, it's because you enjoy living with emotions. Life is beautiful only if it's lived to the full ! Thank you Etienne

I remember listening to this in Germany when I was living there. I met someone who I fell in love for. After 10 months I had to leave. Two and a half years later I came back to visit everyone I met. Listening this song while having a smoke and looking through the window... My heart is filled with emotions. I'm leaving again in 2 days. I met the girl I fell in love for and it was like these two and a half years that we were apart, were nothing. If one day I happen to make a movie about my life here in Germany, this will be the main song for it reminds me of everything I've been through these last few years. Awesome track. I love it. EDIT: Thank you all for your kind words. Not a single day goes by without me daydreaming about going back to Germany. I'm currently studying so I cant just leave everything behind. Me and this girl have decided not to wait for each other and live life as we normally would. Hopefully we will get back toguether. If not, we'll always have Sky and Sand to remember those days. Again, thank you all for your words

This is for everyone who is struggling in life right now. Dont give up. There are good times with great memories... but there are also bad times with sad memories. Thats the way of life. Nothing is forever, nothing is simple. We all are given a gift to live right now. To feel the amazing nature of this blue planet. We all are just a grain of sand in this universe. But we are alive. Out of so many catastrophes we have overcome. And once we begin to understand that life isnt to live forever... we will begin to understand to live it right. Until then... hold on and share your emotions with you friends and family. Enjoy them as long as you can. Cause one day you will wake up and everything will be gone. But then you will finally have understood what life means.

Every so often I stumble across a track that hits me like a train. That moves me to tears and makes me stop, think and reflect. Inevitably I’ll be transported to my favourite place on earth… A chunk of coastal rock a few hundred meters from the ‘Sunset strip’ in Ibiza, where I can sit watching the sunset. The last track that did this for me was Biceps ‘Opal’. April 2023 and I’m casually listening to ‘Tomorrowland’ on one world radio while working detailing a car… and this came on. It stopped me in my tracks and I needed to find it. How on earth this track has evaded me for over 12 years is a mystery. Maybe it was being saved by the universe, ready for me to find at the time I most needed it. And boy did I need it. Beautiful. Masterful. Painful. Enlightening. So many emotions evoked by the words and so many feelings unlocked by the absolutely gorgeous melody. I’m addicted to it. And I don’t want the cure.

Remember when we were students or later adults, this song was always on the playlist in the car or at home, then we would smoke spliff, play card games, watch comedy movies or just hang out, discuss life. Good old irresponsible days. And now two weeks ago he died in car accident only 34 years old. This song has taken really different meaning now for me :(

The first time I heard this song was 9 years ago because it got recommended by KZbin (thanks for that). At that moment in my life I was still a carefree teenager who liked to party. I immediately fell in love with this song and played it on repeat for the first 2 days. Due to some things that happened in my life I got addicted to drugs bad. But even in my worst times this song would uplift me and give me hope for a better future. 9 years later and a lot of struggles I'm now clean and sober for more than 2 and a half years. I played, and still do, this song so much throughout my life that it has become my life's anthem. I definitely would like to have this on repeat on my funeral, no talking, just this song. No matter what mood I'm in, this song is fitting and always makes me dream of bigger things.

Listened to this song for the first time on the way back from a business trip in Germany, in the car with my boss. It directly pulled me back to the girl I had met a year before in Austria, she was so tender but the long-distance had inevitably driven us apart. Time itself in the end brought us back together, and we now have a baby ;o) !

I've been feeling a bit defeated lately; a little overwhelmed by life and my lack of participation with it. I've been sleeping a little too much, feeling frustrated at myself for doing so yet being unable to pull myself out of it. I'd resigned myself to my fate of a "nobody" who has nothing to contribute... but this evening, I went on a walk in woods and this song came on. Feeling the stride of my feet matching the tempo of the beat as I cut my way through nature. I felt a spark within me and suddenly my bed felt so small. Within me aroused a triumphant sense of worth, creating an ember of a feeling which I do not intend to let die out. The next time I'm in bed, I'm going to put this song on, take my mind back to that walk and use the momentum of this beautiful beat to remind myself that I'm bigger than my bed and I'm worthy of engagement with life. Keep on keeping on everyone, it's worth it x
