I love how Guldo not only stood up for the frog captain, but also HIMSELF, showing he's grown a real backbone ever since he threw the Dodgeball match. There he showed signs, but its here where he fully grows into it. And even then, despite him being treated like the butt-monkey of the force, he still considers them as friends. And unlike before like in the sharing circle where Jeice immediately was like "and us!" afterwards when Guldo said he was killed in front of his friends, no one contradicted him this time. I think by standing up for the frog and himself, as well as being key for all the pranks in the last episode (minus the trashbin), he's finally earned their respect.

This is a small thing, but I just realized that TFS and DevilArtemis actually hinted that the Ginyu Force was in fact innocent of the trash bin prank despite being responsible for all the others. Obviously, we were supposed to assume it was them until Burter told Cell that that one wasn't them, but a small hint was left in the episode that Freeza was in fact responsible for that one. First, remember the Chore Wheel gag from 5? Freeza made it clear he didn't do chores, simply cowed Zarbon into doing them... Yet he was outside with Zarbon putting the trash out earlier. Why would that have been the case, unless he was waiting to see Cell's trash bin collapse?

It also shows that they’re actually a team. The way the Ginyus worked together against Cell was actually impressive, setting each other up to best use their strengths: Burter speeding in (with a Guldo assist) to try and distract Cell enough to set up Recoome (the only one that’s shown enough strength to potentially match Cell-as seen in the Dodgeball game). Even if Cell wiped the floor with them in the end, it made for a good fight and you could tell Cell was actually *trying* and not just showing off. Plus I just realized that this was the best fight Cell’s had since his fight with Goku in the Cell Games. Every other battle he’s fought to this point was a curbstomp, either to someone else (Trunks/Vegeta) or himself (Gohan). That probably explains the sudden ramp up in respect between all sides once Cell gives Frog Ginyu back.

So, is King Cold a villain in this? Get the feeling TFS King Cold might be on the more neutral side of things, done some evil but has enough neutrality and clout that he didn't have to go through the soul cleansing and has some right to be around the place. It's actually implied in canon that he's a softer ruler than Frieza/Cooler, nowhere near as cruel or sadistic. It's even shown in the Broly movie that when he arrived on planet, King Vegeta didn't bow or kneel to him, he offered his hand for a shake, implying normally King Cold treated his vassal planets in relatively civil terms if King Vegeta assumed greeting him like that was appropriate.

I was not expecting something so wholesome as the entire bit with the squad and the truth about Ginyu. That was weirdly sweet right up until Guru brought the nightmare fuel. 🤣And holy COW, that fight scene was absolutely fantastic! Way to showcase martial skill minus the power levels BS, and in that regard of course Cell was going to have them beat! And wow, did Raditz just confirm he and Dodoria are an item? In a way, it's like the ultimate defense; if it IS true, it sounds so outlandish that most everybody will react like Cell did, and assume that Raditz is just being a smartass. Really, really curious to see what the HFIL is going to happen with Cold there, though I imagine the next episode is going to feature loads of Frieza torment and embarrassment thanks to daddy dearest. I think some things were easy to predict as there seems to be nothing thats unnecessary in the animation or the writing. Of course there was some plot points being planned ahead, but as a series like this progresses, the writers reading the comments may find something they add to the series. @@SoranoGuardias Never said it would destroy his soul, and your assuming that an ‘indestructible’ soul is inherent to someone that died and kept their body. That indestructiblity might just be something done to the HIFL bound souls to insure they can’t skip out of their ‘rehabilitation.’ The purpose of the soul scrubber is to effectively reset the soul to zero so it can go back into the cycle of rebirth faster. If the soul scrubber doesn’t get clogged, then Ginyu will just be one of those formless souls we sometimes see floating around, or his reset soul might get rushed through the process for reincarnation like Buu’s was. So, either way Ginyu ain’t likely to show up.

@@SoranoGuardias There are fates other than death. In this case, since Ginyu had absolutely no power, he just went through the scrubber. The scrubber, canonically, cleanses *everything* in the soul. so now he's either floating around or already reborn. Probably as a member of a dance troupe.

TFS needs to get picked up by Akira Toriyama, Funimation, and/or Orion Home Video to keep us interested in Funimation's dead horse. Edit: cleared up wording that implied TFS was the dead horse. TFS is the only reason I got any interest in Dragon Ball after 2002.
