This interview hit home. I dont know many people or if any at all in any IT field. The information you find online will have you all over the place. Cybersecurity is what I want to do and I will brush up on all of my IT skills so I can get into cyber. Study A+ and Network+ and take security + exam. I also am completing the google cyber certificate. Ima keep listening to your interviews and keep pushing. I have no mentor or roadmap, but this is giving me more motivation to keep going. I want to get into cybersecurity so bad it’s just knowing I have to start at a low salary and I have a mortgage and. Wife and 3 kids. I currently make 88k as a mail carrier. Is it just something I have to go through as far as help desk or are there other things I can do to help polish me faster in the field?I’m open to all critiques lol.

You may not have to start off as at a super low salary, you jut have to have a strategic plan on getting into the field. There are some skills you have developed delivering mail that can help you out in this field.
