If you don't lift heavy weights it can be hard to understand how much harder it is to lift 5 plates compared to 4 plates etc. This video might help you understand better how hard very heavy lifts actually are and how much it helps with low weight lifts if you can just simply increase your 1 rep max.

Good advice, my aim is to train with a few reps at max weight, but I think I need to build up to it and get my body used to the weights and technique by training around 8/10 reps at lower weights. But the first step is to go to the gym 😂

@@lucasboisneau4256 I started my journey with 5x5 back in the day. You can do that with light weights too and increase weight with 2,5kg every training until it gets too hard 😄

To be good at tricking is it mandatory to lift weights or body weight strength training is good enough?
@johzuke15 ай бұрын
@@godhs4467 weights are not mandatory but extremely helpful. I wouldn't be half as good as I'm now if I didn't lift. That's how important and beneficial I find it. Bodyweight is ok but weights are a lot better.
