While in St Louis training. I wanted to make sure that I took you through a tour of Kyle Watson’s gym. It’s an absolutely beautiful Mixed Martial Arts training facility in mid town are of St Louis.
I had the chance to train there months ago and made it back for some training recently. And the 1st thing I noticed about the place on the 1st visit was how nice the place was.
They also have a ton of space for Brazilian Jiu-jitsu rolling.
If you don’t know who Kyle is. He’s a UFC veteran and a skilled Brazilian Jiujitsu Black Belt. He’s still an active competitor and a full time gym owner.
He’s also a great guy and his gym has a fantastic vibe. The training is tough as it should be. But it’s in a fun uplifting manner.

It’s full of amazing people and great BJJ instruction.

If anyone is thinking of visiting or joining this gym, I would highly recommend it. Yes the gym is great but the best part about the gym is Kyle. One of the best people I've ever met, period. A great teacher and person... training there is one of the things I miss most about living in STL.

Watson looks big - like same size as Chewy. It's surprising because he competed at 155 in the UFC. My coach was on the same TUF season as Kyle, and seems SO much smaller.

The gym is over $150 for 3 days a week, it also costs $100 for a gi and $50 for gloves. Not worth the money when you can find bjj for $100 with no extra fees.

I do bjj and I also do racquetball and it kinda sucks when people do other stuff in racquetball courts that’s not racquetball and the facility usually ends up tearing down the racquetball courts which sucks

Hey chewi thanks for all the content. been training for 8 months now and ive been thinking about throwing some strength training ontop. do you have any tips for 2 sessions a day? bjj in the morning and weights at night or the other way around? ill be doing mainly squats deadlifts pullups and dips. thank you

Hey man, being doing bjj for about 2 months now and I really like it, but I'm occasionally quite stiff and sore after training and some people I talk to say they spend hundreds of £'s on chriropractors and it's worrying me as I wouldn't be able to spend that much. Is there any ways to avoid needing that treatment?
