it's a shame your program changed to a 9 month minimum. I was considering joining until I saw that. perhaps you think nine months is more effective but if it previously had been 6 months then it seems like there could be an optional 3 month extension with the understanding that it will be even more beneficial. $3000 is already a huge consideration without an additional $1500. when you consider most patients with cfs cannot work and this condition is not covered by centrelink. I am supported by my partner who already pays my rent and all my bills. 'invest in your health' is all very well but some people simply do not have close to $5k spare 😢

Yes I agree with you. Being chronically ill and not earning a wage or a very small one, it's not realistic to ask these fees. I'd rather persist in finding my next TCM naturopath (next week is our first appointment) that I *know works for me* and is much more affordable long term and short term! I feel like this is ripping off people who are at their lowest ebb, and often that means women - sorry to say it, but it's overwhelmingly women who struggle with undiagnosed immune stuff across the whole spectrum. Dr Gabor Mate would back this up from his own research. I have his book When the body says No.

Ooh I did not know this had changed. Thank you Yes huge amt of money for those like me who have not worked because of cfs for over 10 years, to 'invest' that much money with no guarantees ..its tough..well I don't even have that much money anyway. I have heard people getting better with other similar therapies and they charge per session, which I may be able to scrape some money together for several sessions. Some of these programmes charge huge amts of money, and others not so much. I do not think Toby's is huge compared to some others, he has to pay all his specialised team as well as himself and keep a business running. Maybe look for another one, they seem pretty similar, but just attack things slightly differently. I wonder if even doing a few different ones all helps put the piece together in the end to well ness. I have done a short course and it was not sustainable for me, but it worked for someone else I know.

Hey! It’s increasing to 9 months minimum commitment from 1st of December 2023. Why? Because 6 months is extremely unrealistic for many people to fully recover and get their life back, however we see many transformations and true tangible change after a period of 9 months building and progressing. It’s been a disservice and out of integrity for members to feel disheartened at the 6 month mark thinking they’ll be 100% better. Whilst they make great progress in the first 6 months most members stay on for 1-2 years, even at lifestyle integration stage, they stay on because we literally help and support you every step of the way. Based off our data, the changes of significant progress happen around the 9-12 month mark. Where they feel very different for the better. A perfect example is Kathleen, she was in the program for over 12 months and as you can see benefited majorly for continuing to get help and support along her journey as she progressed as recovery is not linear and different things are needed at different stages of recovery. We also have a lifestyle integration program, that when you’re ready to integrate into life you can get support and coaching in there at no additional cost. We are here for true transformational change and helping people get healthy and truly start living again. Not semi get better and not get their life back. We understand it’s a commitment, and at the same time a long term approach and commitment is what is required for great change to happen. Nothing great happens over night. The great thing is we are now offering/trialling a 30 day love it or leave it trial to make sure the program is a good fit for each individual. We understand not everyone can afford a comprehensive program like ours. This is why we put our weekly free content for those in situations of financial hardship. We have many more free resources on our website that are useful. We just want you to get healthy and start living again. Whether it’s through our paid program or our free offerings. If you would like help or would like to talk to the team about getting help please email the team at info@cfshealth.com

@@CFSHealthI appreciate this comment and the way you’ve taken the time to explain everything. But I do just wanna say for anyone who might be reading this - that an extra 3 months is not going to be the decider on if you fully recover or not. It’s your commitment to the program that will decide this. I’ve been following this channel for close to 5 years now. And am almost fully recovered. Forever grateful for all your free content here and on fb. But I remember in the OG days when the program was $1,500 and you had access to it for life at that price. I know there have been a ton of improvements made to it and new practitioners have recently joined the team etc. But many ppl in the past, seemed to just take what they needed from the program, within the first 6 months, and then continue applying that new knowledge in their lives, on their own. Yes, extra guidance is great, but we know that no one outside of us can fix us. I just hate the thought that someone out there could be on the verge of joining and getting healthy again, but is holding back, because the stress of having to pay that amount of money whilst likely unemployed (especially in the current economic climate), is too much of a sacrifice for them. I know the heart of cfs health is in the right place, it’s just been a shame recently to see it become so business oriented. The extra marketing and exclusivity of the program has not gone unnoticed.

Oh I resonate with this, I had a list on my fridge for my kids with what to do when I couldn’t get up and also a list of emergency numbers and I taught them how to make the phone calls. They practiced going to get help from the neighbours 😥 so tough. Glad you’re better now

Wow! She’s so much like me - though I only have 6 children, 7 grandchildren. And a writer! I think perhaps the book When the Body Says No, by Gabor Mate, is what she’s referring to. My body says No all the time! You make me think getting better and writing again is possible after this horrible disease.

Wowza ❤🎉 What an awesome recovery. Thank you both and good luck with your book Kathleen. Like Kathleen I am a reasearcher at heart and, over several years since getting sick with covid in the first wave, I had gathered many parts of the 'being well' puzzle. But it wasn't until I joined the program that I really began to learn how to put the puzzle together. Four months in and I have all the straight edged pieces where they should be and the mentors and community are continually helping me fill in the middle. Some days are harder than others and hearing these recovery stories makes a huge difference ❤

I was so encouraged by this story. Several things said addressed fears I had. Can I recover at my age 67, can I recover if I’ve kept crashing . So good to see “ yes” it is possible 😊

I am 58. Toby is awesome, as he has older people on here who have recovered, not just young people which is so encouraging to me too . All the best !

I’m a 70 year old female, single, and feeling purposeless, loneliness, hopelessness. I’ve experienced depression for decades I broke my ankle in 3 places, and broke my wrist as well, 2 years ago. I’ve had other medical issues since then, including a hiatal hernia operation (70% of my stomach was above my diaphragm), diagnosed with anxiety, and currently something (not COVID) that’s kept me in bed most of the day and night for 3 weeks. Last week i had a reasonably good day and I did too much and relapsed, of course. I have not recovered my previous energy and enthusiasm, that I had as a young woman. I look and act and feel my age for the first time in 5 years, my depression is pretty much constant rather than episodic. Lately, I’ve started to envision a better life, a better stronger body. I’m hoping this information and program will create a seeming miracle of and in my life.

SO awesome Kathleen. Do you ever say in these interviews how long it actually took these people to "recover" ie be able to do all these activities ? I would find that very helpful to know. Then I would not feel like a failure if I took two or three years to recover and want to give up along the way thinking nothing was working, thinking that most people take only a few months. One guys puts up in type, on screen, at the beginning of each interview how long the person was sick, and how long to recovery, many have been sick for years and recovery was 2 -3 years. I think that would be good to know with your course. To get an real true idea how long this stuff takes.I think mentoring is a key to recovery but not all of us can pay for a mentor or health coach for months or years. its tough trying to do it on your own. I don't seem to be advancing very far off baseline very quickly, like after 4 months, but perhaps am expecting too much way too soon ? Thanks Toby, love what u share on YT for free .

Someone mentioned the sign up fees to join here. Aren't they excessive? The amounts mentioned in this thread seem very expensive (compared to the cost of say a top level TCM practioner who is doing so much more than just sitting there talking online)....just wondering.
