Hi George, updating the lights on your new Holland was an inspired idea, because working at night in a field with the old lights makes your eyes sore, however those new led lights mean that you don’t strain your eyes so much and then you the operator of said tractor are not so tired that you then prevent accidents from happen. Keep up the good work with your interesting vids and stay safe whilst working on your farm.

Will help a little with fuel consumption too, i did my 05 motorbike, couldn't believe the difference in power consumption from halogen to LED, LED's being a 5th of what Halogens use

The only thing I don't like with LEDs is the fact that when they do go you have to chuck the whole light rather than just the bulb.

How does the new LED cope with the electricity output George? Because LED lights would be using allot less power than the older Halogen lights! The Tractors power systems would still be sending the original power output to the lights as it don't know they are LED? So how does the new Lights allow for the higher power still coming in? Or did you have to sort out a different fuse setting or something to stop the original lights power from going into the newer lights and overwhelming them.

Colin that’s not how electricity works. The leds will only draw what they need. The only thing that could hurt them was if the voltage went high for some reason. That would not happen unless there was a fault with the tractor.

Good upgrade. Don't think the LED look would suit the 8730 but it some one knows a supplier who makes them fit into original housing then your talking 😉 tryed the led bulb swap but would needs the reflectors upgraded as well. Good video by the way. 👍

I'm not sure about doing this on my ford 7810, on the one hand I want to keep her as original as possible and on the other shes a working tractor and the lights aren't great, might light up 40ft at most
